Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

I’m glad we’re ready

with the work in the attic Faye…

yeah…

me too Peachy…

we had to bring all the stuff

…that we didn’t use anymore…

to the recycling park…

also the mattress

that was behind the closet…

the one that brought tears

effurry time Granny had to go there…

I remember you told me

that she found Angel Stippie

behind it…

yeah…

that mattress

was giving her so much sadness

and she always got a flash back

and heard him cry…

when she was there to pick up

some things that she needed…

now that it’s gone

she still feels very sad…

…see…

no one can wipe memories

out of one’s system…

did you know that it’s

five month ago today

that we lost our heavenly brother…

he liked to be in the attic…

with us…

or alone…

effurry time

when Granny gets upstairs

she looks at ‘his’ chair…

on which he loved to sleep…

…now it’s empty…

because there’s

no one there anymore…

we wish he was still here…

lying on his chair

and his blankie😿

…I wished that too Peachy…

Granny always tells me

how much I look like him…

as I do the same things that he did…

…as if he gives me instructions to do so…🧙

I also jump like him…

but of course I have also my own

jumpstyle

which makes Granny MOL

…a lot…

I make a salto after the jump…

and the more she MOLs

the more I repeat it…

I want to see her smile…

because that’s what

our Angel brother wants too🥰

I like that too, Faye…

I always love to see you play…

you’re very entertaining…😹

and I know we make Granny very happy…

and she’s very

T H A N K F U L

for that🙏

…but come…

let’s go downstairs now…

…wait…

I have to wash myself first…

I want to be cuddly clean

when Granny lifts me up…

…when we’re downstairs…

…me too Faye…

but now we really have to go

to make a poem for our furriends

while she just committed a sin

that she holds almost under her chin

then mother hen comes stumblin in

with a lot of noise

against that little girl’s choise

but the rooster has a lot of fun

during his almost gotcha run

he doesn’t see it as a thread

because he knows

little girls have to go to bed

very soon

so he can bring the eggs right back

to his Lady in red.”

That’s a nice purrezzie

for us Grandpaw…

guess who already

took over it…

…talking about me Peachy…

yes

who else…😹

it’s a nice bag…

and I fit in purrfectly fine…

but if you want to try it…

we have to tell our furriends

where we’re

for today…

🧙for the LadyBugs🪄

that still come to surpurrize us

in moments that we don’t expect them

to show up anymore…

and the Bumble Bee

who is still hanging in there

…alive and kicking…

and that the storm Amy

flew over…

so we finally can have some

peaceful garden time again…

without flying saucers all of the place…

we have to make our poem

for our furriends

“They told us to take the boat

when we’re at the end of the road

so we won’t get stuck in the traffic

and this turned out so maffick

because what they couldn’t foresee

is that the whole town

was doing the same as we

so now that the roads

are empty and free

we wished

that our boat had wings

to fly us over the canaly.”

Hi (Furry)furriends😻

…Peachy…

Granny told us about

the new born Egyptian geese…

when she and Grandpaw

were on their way

to do some shopping…

you could hardly see them…

…like in this picture…🙈

but Granny has an eye

for little creatures…

so she made a picture to show us…

now I’m curious

if we can see some creatures too…

we have eyes for that too

you know…

look over there Peachy…

over where Faye…

there’s nothing up here

Faye…

and I don’t see them flying

either…

but I see a lot of water…

so there must be someting in it…

we had a stormy night

so that must be the water

that you see…

but talking about water…💡

we have to do a poem

for our furriends

“They gave me an iphone

all for my own

to use it

when I need a telephone

not only for talkies

but also for walkies

or to write something down

so I neffurr have to frown

when my memory is out of town

and it shows me the way

so I don’t have to follow my instincts

because I gave them away

I also can make pictures

of me myself and I

when there are no family

or furriends nearby

then it’s just me and my iphone

on standby

yes it sure keeps me busy

in effurry way

now I only have to find out

if it’s waterproof

today.”

Thankful Thursday Poem

Faye

come and look at this…

I think it’s time for us

to harvest…

this enormous amount of

grapes…

it’s a lot…

but to much for Granny and Grandpaw

to eat…

so our twofeet family

has to help eating them…

because we don’t like them

at all…

but Granny has to be very careful

when she goes picking the grapes…

as there’s a lot of hornets living in them…

that I’m not allowed to eat…

or hit…

come Faye

now where are you going…

we have to tell Granny about the grapes…

just got distracted…

by other species…

we have a lot of Daddy Longlegs

in the garden…

so I got myself a lot of snacks today…😹

come on…

before you turn into a Daddy Longleg

yourself…

I think I have to eat more of them

to achieve that Peachy…

now let’s tell our furriends

where we’re

T H A N K F U L

for today…

for this delicious amount of

blue grapes…

and the white ~~wine~~ grapes…

the most beautiful Geraniums

that are still standing…

maybe they like to be around

the hornets

and grape smell…

these Verbena’s don’t smell…

but we let them stay

until the Hummingbird Moth

gets away…

I could help you with that🙊

…don’t you dare…

we all keep an eye on you👁️

I didn’t say that I would do it…

at least

not again🙈

…the Autumn sky…

it looks fantastic

doesn’t it…

as if there’s an orchestra

playing in the sky…

…talking about orchestras…

that reminds me

that we have to do a poem

for our furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy

“It’s all in the family

as you can see

we all play our instruments

the way it has to be

it’s our task to do it right

when we play the violins by night

the accordion makes us all happy here

and brings out the best in the atmosphere

and when we need a low frequencie range

then the bass makes the change

some also play guitar

and some do saxophones

for the jazzy tones

and when we make mewsic altogether

no matter in what kind of weather

nor in what mood we’re in

we just give it a spin

as we have one rule for our formula

always do your best in our frochestra.”

Hi (Furry)furriends😻

Granny we need papurr…

and cardboard…

some glue…

and some light…

and then we glue it all together

for our own carbox ride

with our furriends

tonight😸😸

“This is what you can do

when you have enough glue

and a stick to your dreams

that following you

when your heart is lonely

and you’re feeling blue

move on and be creative

that’s all you have to do

put it all in papurr

and on cardboard too

and listen to your heart

that drives along with you.”

and we asked her to slow down

a little

so we can make somewhat

better pictures🙈

which sprouted immediately

after the storm…

the wind was still blowing

our heads off

when Granny took this picture…

they’re standing all in our front garden

and we hope to find more

now that Summer’s out again…MOL…

we had so much to do this week

that we couldn’t be around much…

we made time for our posts

very late in the evening

…almost near bedtime…

so there wasn’t enough time

to stay in touch…

…sorry for that…

and now the crème de la crème

on top of the other ~~crèmes~~

we got marvellous signs of our

Angel brother Stippie🪄

yesterday a birdie caught

Granny’s attention…

without saying anything

he was just looking at her

and she was looking up to him

and smiled…

then she went inside…

and the birdie had moved

to a side of the roof

where he could still see her

and still watching her…

and then she knew that Stippie sent him…

she took her camera

to make a picture

but he didn’t want

to get photographed

and was gone

when she pointed the camera

at him

leaving Granny behind with a big smile

and a happy feeling💞

and we got another message from him

last Monday…

when Granny was busy

with something on her desk

she put on some healing sounds

on the computer…

when we work on the computer

we always listen to healing frequencies…

but while she listened to the sound

she at once heard other sounds also…

that didn’t came out of the computer

and she looked around and listened

where the sound was coming from

and when she turned off

the mewsic on the computer

she turned around and saw that the radio

started playing on its own

…Adagio from Spartacus…

nothing spooky for us…

Granny asked Stippie for a sign

that same morning…

…so here it was…

we’re beyond

T H A N K F U L

that the signs come in clearer now💫

we still have a lot in stock

but we’ll tell you another time…
