Thankful Shopping Art

Hi (Furry)furriends ❤

I’m so

T H A N K F U L

for furresh…

dirty rain-snow-water

rainwater…

it’s cheap…

and it’s healthy…

we are lucky to have water…

there are so many Countries

that don’t have a drop at all…

…not even rainwater…

while we can’t live without it…

that’s really sad…

wished we could send them

some of ours…

to bring a little balance

into the world…

Granny likes it too…

no, no,

not this one…

but out of the tap…

…and I drink this

natural water

daily out of my bowl…

it only costs 0,75 eurocents

for 2 liter…

and is almost as delicious

as this outside water…

Granny likes coffee…

especially Cappucino…

and drinks a lot of tea

…but only all kinds of herbal tea…

…but I also see her drink this…

wine…

see…she has already

finished the whole bottle…

…she likes the white wine

but also drinks the red one…

both very very limited…

since she has hot flushes…

…that seem never to go away anymore

once you have them…

…it costs about 1,79 euro

for 500 ml….

…exactly one glass…

let’s see what we like to snack…

This is Granny’s favourite…

…it costs about 2,29 euro

and is made of peanut…

she can eat the whole

…package…

in one evening…

but has learned

to control her…. greediness…

and either starts eating it on Furriday…

and finish the bag on Sunday…

or doesn’t buy it at all…

only for special occasions…

so no more crunching over here….

only the crunching of my snacks…

I wanted to show you

how they look like…

but I inherit some greediness

from the Granny….

but this is the package…

I get this one as a snack…

every evening a few….

far to little if you ask me…

but Granny says

enough for my sensitive

stomach…

it costs 3,99 euro for 300 grams…

Oh, and the Grandpaw likes

these things…

but also only on occasions…

One dry sausage costs about 3,50 euro….

the Brie around 2 euro…

I got a dry throat…

from all that talking…

so better take another nip…

before it turns into ice…

and then it is also time…

to do my artwork…

on LunaPic with the Watercolor effect

and the shape of the bird…

that we can’t see…

but it looks great anyway….

and a snowflake border…

because Winter is coming

in my part of town…

and it started to freeze already…

…but who cares about that

when you have all LunaPic’s

Candy filter in a warm house…

mixed with some Abstract filter…

and drop a Shadow…

to make me look

like a wild tiger with saber toothies…

…or so…

…and last but not least…

a Color Pencil effect

mixed with a little Scribble

and a Blurred Border…

I guess this turned out

Pawsome…

Just one more thing…

Sweet Shopping Around the World

Hi (Furry)furriends ❤

Time to do some

shopping

for my furriends

today…

but I don’t have

any delicious sweet recipes…

I have to hurry

to find something

that I can use…

…instead of…

…Grannyyyy….

don’t eat your breakfast

…yet…

I need a picture first…

of your delicious meal…

I know it’s not one of your recipes…

but you prepared it…

right?

You need: 2 eggs and

two hands of oat flakes

…use your own hand for this

not your Paw’s or Grandpaw’s!…

mix it and fry on both sides

with a spoon of oil…

Granny made this one with:

…half a banana

…half a pear

…some grapes

and a little bit of

cinnamon

so your blood sugar levels

doesn’t make any fluctuations…

You can put on

any kind of fruit

if you like…

maybe a piece of

very dark chocolate too…

I think the whole costs

of this breakfast

is around 1,25 euro…

depends on the fruit

you decorate it with…

I don’t know about you…

but this made me

…very hungry…

Shopping around the world

Hi (Furry)furriends ❤

shoppingaroundtheworld Bacon

It’s time to do some shopping

with my furriends

today…

shoppingaroundtheworld

but…

shoppingaroundtheworld

as I am

not allowed….

shoppingaroundtheworld

to go outside the garden…

anymore…

shoppingaroundtheworld

I shall pretend…

shoppingaroundtheworld

that I am going inside…

shoppingaroundtheworld

the grocery store

now…

shoppingaroundtheworld

and come out…

shoppingaroundtheworld

with all the ingredients

that I need

shoppingaroundtheworld

to prepare…

a delicious meal…

shoppingaroundtheworld

but I have to find…

shoppingaroundtheworld

my way home..

shoppingaroundtheworld

first…

shoppingaroundtheworld

Now let’s see…

shoppingaroundtheworld

what I have bought…

to prepare the meal…

that everyone wants

when they come to visit…

shoppingaroundtheworld

You need for 6 persons:

– a big pot of white bio beans 1,98 euro (or 200 grams of soaked white beans)

– 1 red, yellow and green paprika 1,39 euro

– a big pot of bio mais 1,94 euro (or 2 corncobs)

– herbs like parsley, chives and chervil

100 grams grated old cheese 1,69 euro

shoppingaroundtheworld

For the pancakes you need:

– 300 grams flour whole grains costs about 0,60 eurocent

– 75 grams of buckweat 0,30 eurocent

– 30 grams of soya meal 0,50 eurocent

2 bio eggs 0,60 cent

8 – 9 dl water

oil and sage

shoppingaroundtheworld

Mix the ingredients of the beans,

and fry the pancakes with sage so it doesn’t feel so heavy in your stomach

shoppingaroundtheworld

then fill the pancakes with the vegetables

and put on some cheese on it

and put it for about 10 minutes

in the oven untill the cheese has melted…

shoppingaroundtheworld

Maybe we have prepared this meal before

but it is the only meal

that they all love

and always want to eat…

I asked Granny to stop preparing it…

shoppingaroundtheworld

to make sure

that they won’t come to often… 😀

and hailing…

all together…

shoppingatw2016

and nope…

…NO SUN to see…

This receipt is from our

Yearly detoxification week

so this is one of my favorites 😉

Shopping around the….soup

Hi (Furry)furriends,

shoppingsoup

It is my furriend Bacon’s

Shopping around the soup…world

time…

shoppingsoup

So that means…

shoppingsoup

that I have to do some shopping

today….

but…

as I am not allowed

to go beyond the garden…

shoppingsoup

we have to check what ingredients we have

in the fridge…

Ready for this mousie?

Let’s go and check it out…

shoppingsoup

We need about 250 g lentils

and 250 g split peas

shoppingsoup

…we only had 150 g of the peas

but that is no problem..

…for us…

…it had to be

green pea soup only

anyway…. 😀

shoppingsoup

…but when you are NOT allowed

to go outside

to do some shopping,

you have to make the best

of what you get…

shoppingsoup

Then you need 2 leeks

2 onions

1 celeriac

1 or 2 vegetable stock…..

!….before we go on:

notice Granny’s first cutting board…

it is almost antique…

just like her….

Allright, you can go on now…

shoppingsoup

…cut it in pieces and add it to the

peas and lentils,

that had already boiled for ages

more than 30 minutes…

shoppingsoup

Now let everything boil

for another 30 minutes…

…stay close to Granny

shoppingsoup

in the meantime…

shoppingsoup

and add

1 smoked saucage in the last 10 minutes…

but don’t do this with

the vegetarian saucages,

because then you will get…

shoppingsoup

this….

shoppingsoup

…MOL…

We added some fried bacon…

…sorry my furriend… 😉

for Grandpaw…

and we had a soup for

less than 5,00 Euro…

shoppingsoup

…and a satisfying

bulge out

afterwoods…

Enjoy your meal!

Shoppingoct15

Okay,

let’s hit the road again

and let’s go and find me a shop

in the neighbourhood….

Next:

find the ingredients

for the meal:

  • Risottorice Euro 0,99 > cook it in 800 ml vegetable stock in a wok.
  • 1 pumpkin 1,99 > cut in small pieces, sprinkle with olive oil and put it in the oven on 180 degrees and add
  • Chestnut mushrooms 1,49 > cut it in pieces and add
  • an onion > chopped.  When everthing is soft you can add it with the Risotto and let it cook until the water is completely gone. Then you can add
  • parsley and
  • Parmesan cheese and enjoy your dinner. Granny and Grandpaw loved it, so did my Auntie. I on the other hand, prefurred my tuna 😉

Granny’s masterpiece

For today’s gluten free pizza we need:

1 cauliflower: Euro 1,69 in shop A and 0,75 eurocent in shop B. http://nl.123rf.com/ thank you

3 eggs: euro 1,49 in shop A and 1,29 euro in shop B.

http://nl.123rf.com/ thank you

Crumbs of goat cheese: Euro 2,80 in shop A and 1,99 in shop B.

http://nl.123rf.com/ thank youpresident

Put greaseproof paper (I don’t know the exactly English word for it, it’s baking paper that you put in the oven) on a baking plate. Oven on 180 degrees. I’m not sure if this is the best idea, because the food doesn’t come off easily, when it’s ready, so we prefer it without the paper.

Mix the cauliflower in a kitchenmachine until it looks like rice and put it in a bowl and add the eggs and the crumbs of goat cheese (we recommend 6 slices or less, but that depends on your taste) and mix it by hand.

Then put everything on the baking plate and spread the mix over it. After that you put it in the oven during a minute or 10, sometimes even longer, untill it is getting harder. Don’t worry when the pizza dough doesn’t get hard…Granny’s never does either… 😀

When it’s ready, we put tomato paste on it. We use the nature sause, but we couldn’t find it, so we choose the GrandÍtalia Sugo Traditionale, that’s a good one too 🙂 It cost euro 1,49 in shop B and 1,92 euro in shop A.

 grand italia

Then you put an onion, paprika, champignons, tomatoes and some olives on it, or other leftovers in the refrigerator

and you have a purrfect….

or mixed up….gluten free PIZZA.

Shopping

I think I have earned

a treat now…

and an extra tummy rub…

HTRTuesday

I’m still open…. 😀
