Shopping around the soup…world

time…

So that means…

that I have to do some shopping

today….

but…

as I am not allowed

to go beyond the garden…

we have to check what ingredients we have

in the fridge…

Ready for this mousie?

Let’s go and check it out…

We need about 250 g lentils

and 250 g split peas

…we only had 150 g of the peas

but that is no problem..

…for us…

…it had to be

green pea soup only

anyway…. 😀

…but when you are NOT allowed

to go outside

to do some shopping,

you have to make the best

of what you get…

Then you need 2 leeks

2 onions

1 celeriac

1 or 2 vegetable stock…..

!….before we go on:

notice Granny’s first cutting board…

it is almost antique…

…just like her….

Allright, you can go on now…

…cut it in pieces and add it to the

peas and lentils,

that had already boiled for ages

more than 30 minutes…

Now let everything boil

for another 30 minutes…

…stay close to Granny

in the meantime…

and add

1 smoked saucage in the last 10 minutes…

but don’t do this with

the vegetarian saucages,

because then you will get…

this….

…MOL…

We added some fried bacon…

…sorry my furriend… 😉

for Grandpaw…

and we had a soup for

less than 5,00 Euro…

…and a satisfying

bulge out

afterwoods…
