this melon
…that I inherited from Auntie Angel Binky…
I still have it and still play with it…
but one day Granny accidentally stood on it
because she didn’t saw it
…as it was under her feet…duh…🙄
and then we all heard a loud ‘crack’
and the bell inside was broken…
She knew this melon is very valuable to me
as I still drag it effurrywhere around…
and she had tears in her eyes
when she looked on the computer
all over the world
to find a new melon…
she found a lot of melons like this
but none of them has a bell inside of it…
so after a while she found a mousey with a bell…
and bought us a few of that…
but it doesn’t have the same effect on me…
I still grab my melon
to play with…

2. I would DANCE every day if I (still) could.
I loved to dance on any kind of music
ever since I was a kid…
from Ballet to Mellow House,
60ties, 70ties, 80ties
soca,
you name it… I dance it…
in the photo-fail-pictures we had a tap-dance performance on
Happy Feet in a Theater back in 2008…
Dancing was my outlet for everything
but about 10 years ago I got more and more problems with my feet
what turned out to be two bad sagged forefeet…
and besides that
my skin got skinner more and more
so sometimes when I walk it feels like I walk on bones…🍖
🦶🦶my own bones that is…🦶🦶
so besides a little wiggle waggle on my chair
and maybe a turnaround in the house
no more dancing for this old girl…
but I would give the world to get back my Happy Feet
and dance along😸

3. It’s almost time for dinner, and I can’t wait.
Granny makes sure
that we don’t get empty tummies…
and as we are big eaters
we’re always hungry…
once I ate what I needed
I’m satisfied…
Peachy on the other hand
never is…
he tries to steal Granny and Grandpaw’s food
from the table…
while I’m waiting that it comes to me…MOL…
