I have to find out what it is…
No, it’s not here, Granny…
Where did it come from?…
maybe from over there…
What’s this???
MOUSES!!..what a mess!…
Who did ruin Angel’s Place…
Granny I think I found the raskal…
It’s Herman my Spiky friend…
What? It’s not??….
Oh, I see…
This one is much smaller than Herman
and it’s a she…
This is Hermaline than…
She’s a little baby hedgehog,
who probably lost her mom,
and she isn’t able to get into wintersleep yet…
because she’s as light as a feather,
so Granny’s taking care of her now..
by giving her a roof over the head…
and lots of food…
MY FOOD!..MOUSES!!…
Granny, is there a slight possiblility,
maybe in the future,
that I DON’T have to share my food anymore?
Anyway…
we hope the little Spiky-girl will survive winter,
we do whatever we can….
and yours truly will watch over her food,
and letting no Strangers nearby.
Well, enough about Spiky Hermaline…
It’s Awarding time…YES!
My furry-friend Texas
has nominated us for the MOUSES award…MOUSES!!
and we’re very proud to receive this award,
so THANK YOU SO MUCH Texas
for this special one.
The rules for the MOUSES! Award are:
1. Thank the Blogger who gave it to you.– Done!
2. Post the Award on your blog.-will do!
3. When you accept the Award, you have to use the word MOUSES! in a sentence.
For this requirement, you may also choose to use one of the many variations of MOUSES!
if you so desire. You know… like… mousin’, mouses, moused-up, etc…
I already used that word a few times in this post,
but I may come up with a sentence later…
please be patient…
we’re still not ready.
4. Finally, you need to pass the MOUSES! Award on to two or more bloggers.
You can pass it along to as many as you like,
but please try for at least two so that the award is spread
around the blogosphere and doesn’ fizzle out or anything.
And you’ll wanna pass the award on to bloggers
whose work you read regularly
and would therefore,
sure as mouses recommend.
See what I did there?
Yup, you spotted it.
I used a derivation of MOUSES! in a sentence.
Lead by example, I say. Lead my example…
My nominations go to my feline friends:
Timmy of Tomcat Commentary by Tim
Selina of One eye on the future
I hope you’ll accept the nomination,
and spread the MOUSES-award,
but most of all
have MOUSES of fun
in this MOUSELY atmosphere.
MOUSES! am I sleepy now,
I have to close my eyes for a minute
before I bring more Awards…
in my next post….
MOUSES what a job!
*dreaming about MICE…MOUSES! ;)*

Chuckles: hey, don’t you worry about food, LB. you know i always have tasty doggy food to share. they may be a little large for you to chew on but once you get the hang of eating like a sloppy, i mean, like a dainty dog like me, you will enjoy the tasty morsels. now that is one cute little hedgehog. i have never, ever come across one of those…just pesky old moles and groundhogs! believe me, they are ugly. okay, gotta run – no, not run, sleep. take care of Granny and little hermaline ☺bye-bye

Nov 28, 2013 @ 09:42:57
Hi Susan, So nice to see you again. Hope everything is fine 🙂 Granny loves to take care of that little Spikeball. The Spikeball eats good, we hope she can built up a lot of
baconfat to survive winter. Pawkiss 🙂Nov 28, 2013 @ 12:23:06
Yes, it’s a real problem if they’re too small before hibernation. She needs to be nice and roly poly!
Nov 25, 2013 @ 08:27:42
Great post… hope the hedge hog makes it through the winter… but in your good hands I’m sure it will…
Nov 28, 2013 @ 10:10:01

Nov 25, 2013 @ 04:38:43
Good job for finding the hedgehog. You know there is a foster family in the blog for a hedgehog. Maybe the two of you can compare notes on how to take care of it.
Nov 28, 2013 @ 09:00:41
We don’t know the foster family, Seeker, we will look for it. Thank you 🙂 Pawkiss 🙂
Nov 28, 2013 @ 14:37:53

Nov 28, 2013 @ 08:50:18
Thanks Austin 🙂 Yeah, we put a lot of warmth inside the house, so she won’t get cold during the winter. Pawkiss 🙂
Nov 25, 2013 @ 00:06:25
I hope your little spiky friend eats plenty and then hibernates in her cute little house for the winter. Concats on your award.
Nov 28, 2013 @ 08:46:51
Thanks Flynn. The little hedgie eats more than I expected, so that’s a good sign to survive the coming winter. Pawkiss 🙂
Nov 24, 2013 @ 22:40:54
That little spiky girl is a cutie! You and Granny are sweet to help her stay warm. One suggestion – do NOT buy her a balloon to celebrate. Her spikes will pop it and scare you, Little B.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Nov 28, 2013 @ 08:43:33
Thanks for the tip, Cupcake. The hedgie could fly away with the balloon too, when she doesn’t pop it…MOL…so no balloons allowed 😀 Pawkiss 🙂
Nov 24, 2013 @ 22:22:35
More awards?? Goodness you are like a never-ending Oscar winner! Congratulations! And thank you little Binkie for helping take care of the little hedgie – they need to be taken care of! 🙂
Nov 28, 2013 @ 08:39:24
I’m getting a little famous around here, Pauline, that’s probably why the little hedgehog came to
myour garden. Pawkiss 🙂
