Good Morning (Furry)furriends,
It’s another episode
of my furriend
and I was trying…
to find myself…
something
for the occasion…
but couldn’t find
anything that I didn’t like…
…yet…
and I asked Granny
if she had a story to tell…
And this is what she told me…
When she was a teenager
back in 1972…
the mini skirts
had to make place…
for tube skirts..
because that was hot…
…at once…
and everybody
was wearing
plateau soles
like this…
So Granny asked her mom
for such kind of shoes too….
so she could wear them
with her new tube skirt…
OMC…
you better close your eyes now….
’cause this is what she has gotten…
colourful blue-yellow
low heels with plateau soles…
absolutely the most ugliest shoes
she has ever had in her entire life…
Can you imagine
how they looked like
with the tube skirt…
Better not imagine that…MOL 😀
She absolutely hated them,
but she had to wear them,
because she was still in highschool
and didn’t had her own earnings yet,
but when she had her own
holiday-tasks
she bought herself
the black shoes
and threw
the blue-suede-shoes
away…

We’re trying to be around as much as we can,
but Granny has a terrible migrane
since a couple of days,
so we do visit only occasional
at the moment.

Hope granny’s feeling better by now. Can see why she was horrified by shoes she got (LOL)…. I can’t believe I was ever able to wear heels. Now anything more than maybe 1 – 1-1/2inch pumps and I’d have to hold on to something or someone for dear life, or risk face implant. Hope you’re having yourself a purrrfect weekend… Ohhh and snuggle up next to granny’s head and purrr softly in ear (and maybe head rub (but no claws).

hahaha…MOL…Mom remembers those shoes and skirts in the 70’s. In 1972 mom was 22 and had just got married. She says looking back she was kinda dumb! Mom never wore shoes like that but the tube skirt was one she wore but didn’t care for. She says she hasn’t that of those skirts in many a year. What fun.

No my Mum also does not go for those platforms. She falls easily and those shoes will just help her to fall over. Then we won’t have walkies for some time! Horrible to just think about it! Have a lovely day/evening v..v

Quietly tiptoeing in. We have migraines sometimes. Soft paw pats from RC Cat with a barely heard purr to soothe)
I had some tall platform shoes in red and green plaid fabric. Bought in Madrid and I loved them, but they were hard to wear with anything but black or red solid skirts. (But “you bought them, now wear them”)
