Not a Wordless Wednesday at all

Hi (Furry)furriends ❤

I”m not coming

out of the stairs cupboard…

and I am not

going outside….

…today…

not in a zillion years…

…never…ever…

I don’t know…

what has happened in the garden…

but one second

I was in the garden…

and the next second

I was at the vet’s…

Now let me tell you

what has happened…

…not that we really know…

but this is how it went…

Granny had installed herself

to answer…

…finally…

on your bloggies…

…because she is very busy

…lately…

with all HER kinds of stuff…

*rolls eyes*

and I was out…

in the garden

like usually…

when the weather is fine

in the evenings…

*mumbles*

and when it is still light

…outside…

…we all had just eaten

so there was plenty of time

left in the evening

to enjoy

…what we had planned…

but just when Granny started

to reply on the first blog…

I looked at her

through the window

and Granny saw immediately

that there was something

…VERY WRONG…

…my eyes were blinking

and I couldn’t see anything…

and then I started to drool…

…lots of drooling…

and Granny called Grandpaw

that he had to call the Vet

…immediately…

and came after me…

asking me what had happened…

but I run away from her…

went inside…

and run up and down

on the stairs

…like crazy…

…but she was able to catch me

when I took a little rest…

and then she hugged me

and comforted me…

telling me that everything

will be allright…

and that I don’t had to worry…

I guess she was more worried

than I was…

I hissed at her…

and growled…

but she knew that it hurt

whatever it was…

Then she had to put me in the

carrier…

but I resisted

and run away upstairs…

and laid down myself

under the couch…

I was exhausted…

but Granny couldn’t catch me…

I didn’t want to go in that

carrier…

the last time I was in there

we drove almost 200 miles

to our new home…

…What if they had decided

to move again…

…I think I digress…

Anyway…

…When they finally caught me

and put me in the carrier

…my eyes weren’t small

and didn’t blink

…anymore…

but I got a good check up…

at the Vet’s…

and the Vet thought

that I had been fighting

because my third eyelid was torn…

but that wasn’t it…

there are no cats…

nor birds in our garden…

only that cow kitten

…once…

but not yesterday…

Granny thinks that I was

…chazing…

that big Mr Bee…

…or he was chazing me…

and I didn’t watch out

for the branches

…or thorns…

of the little trees…

…in the moment of the reflex…

Whatever it was

I wasn’t beaten

…by anything…

…Thank CowKittiness…

…So

…all’s well that ends well…

…besides that

“no eating after we were home

until the next morning…

….just in case….”

*By the way*

Any idea what my weight is?

I know now…

The Vet knows…

and You…

want to make a guess?

…I have lost some pounds…

!honestly!

Nope…

I don’t have pictures

to prove

…anything…

also not of my car drive…

nor of my soundtracks

…in the car…

I only held Granny’s paw hand

…during the drive…

…and when we were home

I gave lots of headrubs

to Granny and Grandpaw…

and sat on Granny’s lap

for some minutes…

and then I run to my bowl

…to eat…

…No…

I don’t go outside…

…not today!

Oh Binky! That must have been scary…not only for you but for your granny too. We hope you’re okay. Wally once got stung by a bee…but on his paw and it swelled up. The vet said to put cold compress on it and after a couple of days, the swelling went down.

We still don’t know what has happened, Ernie, but it was really scary. Besides the third eyelid there was nothing to see. Granny has never seen anyone drooled as much as I did. Thank Cat this had a Happy End 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂 ❤ Btw that's a good tip!

I just had a thought. Do you have any toads in your garden? Once me and Eric found one and we played with it, but when we tried to lick him he made our mouths drool and gave us itchy runny eyes too.

Maybe, Flynn. We haven’t found any toads in our garden…yet…and now Granny get the creeps, because it seems that they are very big in this part of our Country…We had them in the garden of our former house, but we pay attention now. You never know! Thanks for the tip, Flynn! Pawkisses 🙂 ❤

Poor baby. Yuo are one lucky kitty. When my Amber had an eye injury, she had to have an eyeball surgery and many many dollars to fix.. not to mention lots of pain for poor Amber. Best stay away from sticky branches that can hurt little eyes. Blessings for a quick recovery. (Amber is the ‘muse’ for Angel in my cat mystery, Black Cat and the Accidental Angel.)

Thank you, Elaine. So sorry your Amber had such a bad eye injury. I was very lucky! We are going to check out your stories. Have to see how we can biggify the letters…not because of my eyes, but Granny can’t read small letters anymore, even not with her glasses…MOL 😀 Pawkisses 🙂 ❤

OhMyLovelyBinky! Me happy you are safe and comfy 😆
Please, don’t do it again, whatever you did, or didn’t it, for poor Granny’s sake!
That’s what scares me most: a sudden (and severe) disease or illness of one of my four cats.

Be sure to take you eye drops like a good girl! (As if you would do anything else.) My Bengal hurt her eye a couple of weeks ago when Russell Sprout’s claw was in there. She is not a fan of the drops. I hope you are better behaved! Paw kisses to you, too.

OMGoodness, Little B. What a harrowing experience! I’m so happy you’re all right after all that. Certainly nobody would fight with you! But chasing stuff can definitely make us careless. You will never win a fight with a twig or a thorn or a bush. They’re tough. You are best to stay in for a while. Soon, I’m sure you’ll venture out to patrol your yard again. Stay safe, little buddy. My guess is that you are 12 pounds….? Whatever the number, you are a perfect size.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake
