Binky, you have powerful skills of observation. Our humans and I could learn a thing or two from you about noticing the small stuff. The small stuff becomes the important stuff, eh?
My mommy prides herself on noticing details more often than most. She is a human observer. She really doesn’t join in until she’s observed a situation for a bit. Some may call her aloof, but this is the way she gets to know people and decides to join in or not. Many of us cats are like her, are we not? Cautious until we know you and have observed our surroundings closely. I think that’s why that Tabby keeps watching you from under the car. He is learning how best to make friends with you and not screw up on the first try. (Which almost always breaks the connection)
