A Poetic Thankful Thursday

Hi (furry)furriends💗

I’m still inside as the storm is still running…

yesterday it seemed

that the wind was finally going to sleep…

so I went out for about 15 minutes…

and came running inside

because it came back

with all its intensity…

that was left after the real storm…

so what do you do the whole day

when there’s nothing else to do than

…sleeping and eating…

…right…

you watch tele…

and I’m so

T H A N K F U

that we all have our own tab

so that we can watch…

our own soapie…

and now we go right on to our poem

that we made

for our Angel furriend Sammy…

The little house on the prairie

didn’t look so functionary

while it was standing there all alone

the roof started a life of its own

and everything around it was growing so fast

that only the little creatures knew how long it would last

that it was stading there purroud like a King

in the middle of Lost Springs.

That is a lovely poem, Little Binky.
The storm came back with a vengeance in the early hours of this morning. The wind was so loud it woke me and then kept me awake. Then the thunder and lightning started! The next storm is due to arrive tomorrow night.

Sleeping, eating and watching TV while the storm rages is not all that bad of an idea, Binky. Was your calm like the eye of a hurricane ?

Binky you look so relaxed and happy to be watching TV in a comfy chair with your Granny. You REALLY did a fabulous poem for this week’s Poetic Thursday – it’s PURRRRRRFECT! I knew there would be some fun poems for that photo but yours really “hit the spot” !! Thanks for playing along with me every week. I mean that my little friend.

Sweet poem, Little B. Also, you are a smart kitty to run from the wind. When it blows on me, I think I’m getting a spanking! I blame Mom, but she says she can’t stop the wind from blowing.

You looks so comfortable lounging by the tele! Sleep is often preferable to what’s available to watch 😉
