A Poetic Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Granny

come quick…

look what I’ve found…

it’s right there…

see that?

it looks like a piece of wood…

but it hops around…

it’s a Woodhopper Grasshopper…

and I already had two of them…

…in my tummy…🙊

because they’re very yummy…

but now I have to be aware…

that there’s no birdie around

who wants to steal it from me…

so you better come quick

before I put my teeth in it…

Now you guess what I’m

T H A N K F U L

for today…

😉

I also made a poem

for my Angel furriend Sammy and his brother Teddy…

with this picture…

“You can purretent

that it’s a melon

and it sure tastes like heavon

but if you look really deep

you don’t know that

while you were asleep

you were completely out of focus

because when you took that bite

it wasn’t a watermelon

but my locust.”

🦗🍉📚Have a Happy Thursday my furriends📚🍉🦗

    Locusts!, Watermelon!

That was a interesting poem Binky…with a surprise ending!! MOL!!

The other day, petcretary found a mangled locust, and thought maybe one of the hooligans had tried to snack on it…those things eat way too much of the veggies in my patio pots, even the flowers.

Must be good eating too…remember John, in the Bible, he ate locusts and homey…maybe that would make for a good reducing diet…yech!

Great poem, Binky. Those ‘hoppergrassers’ cause so much damage. I hope they don’t start noshing on your beautiful lavender.

Oh Binky that’s a brilliant poem AND I must say that I have NEVER eaten a grasshopper before – are they good????? We don’t see them very often here for some reason. Maybe because our grass is all burned up from the hot hot hot summer days with no rain? Thanks for playing poetry with us!

    Hugs, Teddy 🙂 ❤

They’re very tasty and playful too, Teddy. Your mom has to find you one, they like all kinds of other insects and they eat their own relatives too…maybe they have eaten each other already, as you can’t find one…🙀😸Pawkisses🐾😽💞
