Hi (Furry)furriends💗
It’s hot here in our Country…
45°C (113F) in the garden🌞😎
and when it’s hot
we have to drink a lot…
and Granny put bowls filled with water
in every shady corner
for everyone…
I may call myself
the first class taster
of every bowl…
someone has to approve, right?
but first
I have to do a little movement
with the paws…
accompanied by a lament…
before I dive straight into the bowl….
and being surpurrized
about myself
afterwards…
So today I’m
T H A N K F U L
for furresh water
and the beautiful weather…
even if I’m not allowed
to get outside during the day…
we still have early mornings and late evenings…

talking about paddle…
I see my car coming around the corner…
how about to take a drive
into Poetry-land with my furriends
Angel Sammy and Teddy…

Step right in and don’t you cry
there’s room enough
with a fantasy eye
let’s take a tour
around the street
to give that motor
some extra heat
and when the going gets tough
we’re far enough
to put in some gasoline
in that tricycle machine
because noboby knows
how far it goes.”

Wow, and we thought 37 was hot…yikes! And very few peeps even have air conditioning in Holland. Hope the heat wave breaks up soon, so you can all breathe again.

That’s pretty hot so early in the summer! We are suffering from 100 degree temperatures, so a little less than you, but still unpleasant. The unhealthy air quality is a real problem here. For those of us with asthma, etc, it means not going outside so much. I’m glad that you are able to go outside, Binky, and bless the water for all to drink. Good job!

This is incredibly hot. We had about 30 and now it is raining for 2 days already and well cooled down. Keep drinking and shed more of your fur….. Keep cool everyone!

Binky that is a fabulous poem for that TEENY TINY little car! It would be fun to ride around the yard in that wouldn’t it? My Mom puts water bowls out on the front porch for passing kitties (or squirrels!) too – on a hot day everybody needs a nice cool drink right????
