When the garden comes to light…

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

It has been a busy week again

for me and my Granny…

There was so much going on in the garden…

it all became alive more and more

and it all started with the Ants…

and the Aphids on the Cherry tree…

and then out of nowhere came the tripes thrips…

…lots of thrips…

they settled in the house of

the wanna-be-wasps

that lived there for a couple of years…

and actually the thrips have banned all these creatures

because they wanted a house of their own…

so Granny had to find a way to get rid of them too…

but they were with so many

that she decided to move the whole house

into the dustbin

for a purroper final countdown…

and now we hope that the wanna-be-wasps

make their comeback

and drink again

when Granny comes to fill their bottles…

this one always waited here for her

…every day sharp…

but first we have to buy a new house for them…

…I’m sure that won’t last long…

but just when we thought we had it all

a new army of ants tried it again…

🐜🐜🐜🙈

no wonder she didn’t had time for my blog…

but there’s a lot to be

T H A N K F U L

for

anyway…

because Granny found the Queen of the ants…

she was walking towards Granny

with the white flag to give up the fight…

and then she let herself catch on a branch

so Granny could walk her to the green bin

where she can live on furrever…

Now we finally have a little rest…

to tell you where we are

T H A N K F U L

for

our two coloured Borage…

so beautiful…

you can eat them

but let’s be honest

who wants to eats those beauties…

We’re also very

T H A N K F U L

for

the Hypericum

that was very sick because of the aphids, mealybugs

AND ants…

Granny treated her with another Homeopathic remedy…

and look at her now

this was the next day after the treatment…

and now she looks even more beautiful…

…see…

amazing isn’t it?…

And look at the stars now…

not above…

they came down…

and settled themselves between the other plants…

he’s back too…

so grateful for that…

what about our Sage…

and Chives…

this one even has a face inside of her…

and a bug…

and the Clematis has made furriends

with the Astilbe

that Granny repotted to another place

where she could breath again

because the Anemones didn’t want her there

overgrowned her…

and look who’s back too

The Flower of Light…

now better take out all of your sunglasses

because there’s a light…

in every Rose…

and when you listen good…

there’s a melody in it too…

can you hear it?

I really do…

they sound like a melody…

listen…

Sounds Like A Melody – Alphaville (1984)

There is a Light that never goes out – The Smiths (1986)

Heart of the Universe – Snatam Kaur and Peter Faber (2012)

and now it’s time for my

artwork and

Do you still like my puzzles?

then you find one inside of it too…

I think I need a little vacation now…

“Let’s float

with a boat on a river

with no distraction

and far away from the action

just a gondelier who leads us from here

singing “O sole mio”

under the stars at night

that are shining bright

in the Universe

of life.”

📚🌞🎨Have a Peaceful Week ahead my furriends🎨🌞📚

🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

Oh Binky, that was such a wonderful tour of your grandma’s garden. I love it! I’ve never seen pink borage, only the blue. I grow some of these flowers, too. But not roses – I’ve given up on them. That blushing rose is so beautiful. So is the music – I knew the first two songs – not the third. And I can listen to Alphaville all day!

Here, it is probably cause of the drought ~ I thinks they are lookin’ for water like the rest of us, so it’s a fight! Anyhu, glads all is back in balance with your beautiful garden Binky! And, might I say, you are lookin’ FABulous yourself!

You and Granny have had a busy time with all those garden pests. It has been so wet and cold that we haven’t had any invasions yet, just a few ants and aphids. It is forecast to get hotter from tomorrow and is always humid here even when it is cool. I expect that will bring the thrips out. We call them thunderflies because they like hot humid weather.
Your Astilbe is growing well. Only one of mine grew this year. I think it was because we had a very dry March, a cold April and a very wet May/June. The plants don’t like it and want some sun. Your second rose has my favourite colours and I chose similar for Eric and Flynn in the Remembrance Garden.
Your art is lovely and thanks for the puzzle.

I always love how you are so talented that you can combine all those ‘themes’ into such beautiful posts!!

Your garden blooms are amazing, and its good to know that Granny knows how to keep everything in the kind of balance for the best prettiness and health of all the plants that grow there, and not to mention all the helpful buggies! Phooey on those bugs who want to take over…its sort of a backhanded compliment, your garden is so pleasing even the invaders appreciate it! LOL!

Does your Granny use the herbs for medicinal purposes??

Have a great week, and Little Binky, its always good to see you enjoying the garden and all the wondrous beauty around you…it enhances yours!

    Binky,

Thank you for the lovely garden time. Your granny has a beautiful green thumb. The flowers are so pretty. That multi-colored rose is stunning. Is it called the flower of light? You were right to warn us to take out our sunglasses. I didn’t listen and I wished that I had – WOW! Your music was a perfect fit for your garden presence and then you wound things up with a nice poem. You’re such a talented furriend. Hugs to you and Granny! Thanks for hitting the dance floor with me this morning! 😘

You have such a pretty place to rest and nap and keep an eye on things!! Your poem for my Mom’s favorite city – Venice – is super too. My Mom dreams about Venice all the time – I think she’d like to go back but I won’t let her unless she takes me. HAHA Thanks for being our friend dear Binky!
