Hi (Furry)furriends💗
In case you wondered
where I’ve been last week…
I wonder – Robert Cray (1986)
and what we’ve been up to…
now here’s the story…
I was taking a walk in the garden
the other day…
Love Walks In – Van Halen (1986)
and couldn’t hardly see anything anymore
because of the wilderness we lived in…
A Walk on the Wild Side – Lou Reed (1972)
and because the weather was getting up…
Up – Luke Bryan (2020)
with temperatures above 20℃ (68F)…
I thought that it was about time
to do something about it…
and walked run home…
Run – Snow Patrol (2003)
to ask Granny…
Ask _The Smith (1987)
if she could help me…
Help – Tina Turner (1984)
to prune the trees…
so that effurrything would be ready…
Get Ready – Rare Earth (1969)
when Spring definitely arrives
here…
This is the Life – Amy MacDonald (2007)
in a week or so…
and she started with the Butterfly Bushes…
Butterfly, Butterfly – a-ha (2010)
first the branches…
and then she sawed the big branches…
and then…
…I had to say STOP…
Stop Stop Stop – The Hollies (1966)
because she was so busy
that she almost sawed effurrything around us…MOL…
not that it’s not necessary
but we still have time to do it this week…
…at ease…
Look how big this guy is…
this year it’s his 4th Birthday…
and that other one’s too…
We moved the other one to the other side…
see…
he just needed a little pee…
so they can all have a little breather…
Breathe – Pink Floyd (1971)
now we only have to wait…
till they grow back again…
How Long – Wet Wet Wet (1992)
I can do some artwork in the meantime…
and create a puzzle…
Has it grown yet?
Wait…
maybe I can do a Selfie too…
of Myselfie…
Has it grown yet?
Maybe after doing a poem…
“The magic begins
when the lights start to glimpse
trees that have been sawned
will be soon growned
into the night of the sky
while the blue water
is floating by
little creatures will help us out
to let the branches getting sprout
I only have to wait and see
if they’re working just as hard as me.”
And? Has it grown yet🙈

Oh yes spring, and so much cleanup work. A lot of music here I wasn’t familiar with but I haven’t heard “Stop! Stop! Stop!” in such a long time. Spring, don’t stop! Alana ramblinwitham

You are getting nice warm temperatures and you and Granny have been very busy in the garden. Once the butterfly bush starts to shoot it will grow fast. Your art is pretty, and as always you have chosen lovely songs.
Mar 16, 2022 @ 13:53:10
I love your garden photos and meowza to your mewsic selection! 😻

It looks like you and Granny have been busy, Binky! But you will have to wait a bit longer until it grows 🙂
Mar 16, 2022 @ 03:59:30
Wow, that sure was a lot of work you and Granny did in the garden, Binky. We bet it will be so wonderful in the Spring. 🙂
Mar 16, 2022 @ 03:05:46
Charlee: “Wow, what a lot of work!”
Chaplin: “Our Dada was out with the hedge trimmer, lawn mower, and weed whacker this weekend, but our yard still doesn’t look anywhere near as tidy as yours!”

Wow you fit a lot into one post Binky. You are such a good garden helper and a great poet. I love your art too. Thank you for the puzzle. XO

The garden looks pretty good and ready for spring. That said, I am not sure things grow that fast!! Give it a little time, Little B. It will happen.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Oh my heavens…you’ve been soooo busy getting ready for spring’s arrival this weekend. Guess I better get out the rake for our garden and start working on cleaning things up after your inspiration. Lovely selfie, sweet Binky.
Mar 15, 2022 @ 15:20:22
Love Van Halen’s “Love Walks In” with The Red Rocker!
Binky, we are leaving most of the garden alone until the temps are high enough to overwintering bugs to climb out of the leaf litter and empty stalks, so maybe May?
Winter last too long around here, darn it.
Mar 15, 2022 @ 14:25:10
You and Granny have been VERY busy. Great poem and artwork. Thanks for the puzzle too.
Mar 15, 2022 @ 14:24:56
Binky,
Your walk in the garden with all things spring-like was lovely and the mewsic was sooo purrfect, too. After this weekend’s wintry mess, I’m happy to report it’s feeling once again like spring is here which is now only a week away! I’m ready for its return. I enjoyed your songs you shared at the dance party and I’m so glad to see you out boogieing on the floor with everyone. Have a boogietastic week, little furriend!
Mar 15, 2022 @ 13:15:36
Binky, we enjoyed the garden photos and your “take charge” ways as you walked about and decided what Granny should do to make Sprink hurry to you as fast as possible. I think the garden will be all ready and the butterfly bushes WILL sprout and grow wonderfully well. They needed that trimming. And, a little pee never hurts! You were right.

Chainsaw massacre? Thank goodness you were there to calm Grandma down! 😀
Mar 15, 2022 @ 09:54:10
Well, you cutie pie, you have a loooooong wait for those to grow back. Migh have a little bush in a year though.
Mar 15, 2022 @ 09:48:05
Wishing you a lovely day Binky, enjoy the sunshine while I enjoy the puzzle 🙂 ♥

Oh Binky what a bunch of fabulous “Almost Spring” garden photos. My Mom hasn’t cut our butterfly bush back yet – I guess I need to tell her it’s time! Your poem is magical too – that little house looks like it would be a fun place to explore doesn’t it? Thanks for doing a poem with us this week.
Hugs, Teddy (and Angel Sammy too!!) xxoo
