Hi (Furry)furriends💗
Close your eyes
and picture it…
last week in our garden…
The Bride in full glory…
she even crowned me
with her beautiful leaves…
and then Winter set in again…
and right after the cold…
time went back to Autumn
with the storms…
and here she is now…
within a week
she lost it all…
it’s effurrywhere in the garden now…
but I’m
T H A N K F U L
for the few days that she was in bloom…
and that she leaves behind all her…
…er…
wild hairs?…🙈
and I’m
T H A N K F U L
that it is dry for a sec…
so I can galop
straight into my poem…
before the rain starts coming again…
“We do effurrything together
little girl and I
cause even if it doesn’t show
we’re so much alike
we grew up together
and we’re best furriends
and we like to show it
in the camera lens
the only difference between us there is
that I make my moves
with hooves
and she does it
in Leopard bootes.”
Please stop by at my furriends bloggie
for a heartwarming request🙏

Apr 10, 2022 @ 05:40:01
Well, the Bride’s blooms sure were lovely, even if they were only there for a little while. We love your sweet poem, Binky.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful blooms of the “Sakura” Cherry blossoms (?) Must have been hard work to clear the fallen flowers after. Stay warm in this odd weather Lil Binky. Take care of Granny and Grandpaw please.

Oh, what a lovely image of the bride/tree. And leaving behind her “hairs”…perfect and yes we have visited Ellen. So sad. What photo program do you use to put so many photos easiy on your blog. Are you using WordPress?
Apr 10, 2022 @ 12:04:51
LouLou, I’m using different photo editors, but mostly Photoshop Elements, my own program. You have to scale your own foto’s (making them smaller for the use on WordPress and/or Blogger) so you can post them all, otherwise your photo storage will be full very soon, we have had that once and never make that mistake again🙀If you need to know more, just ask. We’re happy to help🐾😽💞
Apr 20, 2022 @ 13:49:11
But can you scale several photos at once in adobe?
Apr 22, 2022 @ 10:19:54
Yes you can, LouLou🎉 It took me some time to figure it out, but we can do the signature and scale in one time. Here’s a link where you can find how to do it. https://dwphotoshop.com/how-to-resize-multiple-images-in-photoshop-elements/ Let me know if it works, okay🐾😽💞

Your tree was gorgeous! But the carpet it left for you is pretty too…not cold like snow.
Petcretary managed to get out for an hour of walking Friday evening, in-between rain events…its rather soggy around here, and she had to dodge lots of puddles! Hopefully all our April showers will make for pretty May flowers!
Apr 09, 2022 @ 02:21:56
Just like that – she lost it. But she still looks pretty and spring-y through it all.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Wow that’s amazing

Our blossoming trees are stubbornly keeping most of their blossoms on and not flying away! Have a wonderful spring!

I’ll be happy when Spring stays for good! ~Ernie

Aww, those pretty blooms leave too soon, don’t they (and cold wet weather doesn’t help prolong them). Here’s to a happy weekend.
Apr 08, 2022 @ 18:40:47
Beautiful tree, how sad it lost its blooms so quickly. Great job on the poem. Thank you for sending people over to my blog. XO
Apr 08, 2022 @ 18:40:30
Definitely beautiful while it lasted! I’m sure they’ll be back soon.
Apr 08, 2022 @ 17:28:55
Those were beautiful blooms while they lasted, Little Binky! And cute poetry!
Apr 08, 2022 @ 15:02:29
Your poem is pawsome. We love the photo of you with your “crown”
Apr 08, 2022 @ 14:44:03
Sorry about losing all those beautiful blossoms so soon. They sure were beautiful. Almost as beautiful as you are.
Love the poem. Very well done.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Pawkisses to you, Little Binky and my very best to your wonderful Granny. ♥

Such beautiful blossoms, and then just petals in the breeze.
Spring is a cruel season.
Apr 08, 2022 @ 13:23:34
we agree with you… for some days we lived in spring land… till da ole winter came back… sigh…
Apr 08, 2022 @ 12:55:01
Binky sorry your bride lost her “veil” but it happen here with our bradford pear trees every year when the wind blows – makes for a pretty yard though with blossoms everywhere. Your poem is absolutely adorable (like you!) – it has a very sweet “story” and we thank you for playing poetry with us every week!!!!
Love and Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam xxoo

It does go very fast and specially with the terrible wind we had. HAve a wonderful day Binky!
Apr 08, 2022 @ 11:36:53
Oh no! How heartbreaking for the bride and you. The winemakers round here had a lot of fun and games keeping the frost of the vine buds. Not as bad as last year, thankfully.
