Well, one of mama’s oldest and sweetest friends died this week, Bob Neuwirth, who wrote Janis’s Mercedes Benz with her, drunk one night, on a napkin. Bobby was an incredible muse, for Dylan, for so many, wonderful songwriter and if you can find The Call video and hear him sing it, you will hear the world’s most perfect song. A brilliant and inspiring individual who helped so many attain fame but stayed behind the scenes, working anonymously and writing great songs.

Y’all brought all new to me songs. I had to giggle when I got to The Strokes. If only they were James Bond then they would live twice (You Only Live Twice) as long. 😀 I used to want to live forever on earth but not any more. There’s too much evil in our world. I am looking forward to living forever in heaven where we’ll be free from earthly worries. 😉 If only that ole snake didn’t tempt Eve then this world would be a perfect paradise. I hope you don’t have to worry about snakes in your garden, my furriend.
