The boys are back in town

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

The morning of our Catstration

I was waiting near my bowl

to get finally some food…

after more than 12 hours of starving…

so I was very happy to see Granny

when she finally woke up…

and entered the kitchen…

but no food for me and Peachy…

and I asked myself

why this morning had to be different than yesterday…

it has to be

yesterday once more…

look at Peachy…

his empty tummy made him sad…

and he almost collapsed…

see his hungry eyes…

asking for food…

Please…

come…

and refill our bowls…now!…

it has been more than 12 hours

since my last brekkie…

I don’t know  why she kept saying

that our tummies had to be empty

for the anesthesia…

so we wouldn’t throw up…

with all possible consequences…

so we concentrated on hope

that we couldn’t go after all

because of the snow…

that Father Winter brought to us in the night…

so we thought that the stars favored us…

…NOT…

it kept snowing the whole day

and Granny didn’t dare to drive…

but our big twofeet sister (Angel Binky’s mom) did…

…they put us in the carriers

and as we didn’t want to go out

we had some resistance…

because we felt that Granny was

much more nervous than us…

thus we took over her nervousness

and couldn’t relax anymore…

but we couldn’t cope the strong arms

of the big sister…

so once in the car

Peachy serenaded

for the three of us

and didn’t stop

until we arrived at the Vet’s…

…three quarters of an hour later…

…my mouth was open in surpurrize

of the voice of my brother…🙀

okay..

maybe I was a little scared…

…but just a little…

because I could see Granny from my carrier

and she held my paw…

and with her other hand she held Peachy’s paw…

but it didn’t stopped him from…eh…

singing…🎵🎶🎵

Once we were there

we got a check up…

and then I got my sedation…

and I was put under the red light…

that was very cozy and warm…

and I couldn’t resist what happened next…

after that

it was Peachy’s turn…

and when he was put under the red light…

I got my anesthesia

and my operation…

Granny and big sister were with us all the time…

on one paw it was a relieve

knowing that they were with us…

but on the other paw

it was so embarrissing…

…for us…🙈

after a while of a looooong sleep…

we finally could go home…

and when we were awake…

we were allowed to eat…

…finally…

and after a little bite…

we had to give in to another round of sleep…

so we wouldn’t look like Gremlings little Elves all the time…

We were sleeping all day and night long…

and we had a little accident on the chair…

and the couch…

that Granny forget to..diapurr👶

she was busy cleaning us

and the house…for two days…

thank Cat she got something against the smell too…

I was the first to climb up the scratching post…

but Grandpaw got me down

for my own safety…

and to be near to Peachy…

who sat on the other side of the door…

Granny was with us all the time…

to take care of us…

and we slept sat with her on the couch…

this time

with diapurrs under the towels…

just in case…

We healed up very quickly…

Stippie has throwing up a few times

because of the *peep* anesthesia…

but after a dose of Healing

he is now his old Self again…

that means

we can participate for our weekly mewsic hop…

and bring in our Christmas songs…

as this month is full of Christmas ambiance…

Christmas Lights – Coldplay (2011)

Lonely Without You This Christmas –

Mick Jagger, Joss Stone and Dave Stewart (2004)

Do they know it’s Christmastime – Live Aid Wembley 1985

Merry Christmas – Ed Sheeran and Elton John (2021)

Fairytale of New York – The Pogues (1988)

and we have time for our weekly poem

for our furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy…

“When a dog thinks

he’s a cat

and a cat knows

he’s not like that

then you may forgive him

that he’s using our flap

because he doesn’t know better

than that.”

We’re also very very very

T H A N K F U L

for all of your purrs and purrayers

for the operation…

🙏they sure helped a lot🙏

Sorry we couldn’t finish our bloggie

earlier…

but these days were very hectic…

and time passes so quickly…

that we also couldn’t reach out to you…

but we purromise to stop by your bloggies

asap…

🎵🎶📚Have a wonderful Thursday my furriends📚🎶🎵

🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

One day soon, you will feel like frisky kittens and not remember any of *that* day when they made you not have your brekkie…
Glad all is well. We’ve been lax in visiting too…this sure gets to be a busy time of the year…but we do stop and think about what this season actually means.

You two brave sweethearts! As you know, we had some spays done this week. I’m so glad everything went well and as hard as that was for you, let me tell you from experience, it was REALLY hard on your Granny!

I love your music choices – I never get tired of that Live Aid song this time of year … look how young they all were – my how time flies!

Granny had to remove all the food because you can’t have food before your procedure. I’m glad all went well. I’m most happy that you finally got to eat.
Love your playlist. It’s a wonderful time of year.

Chaplin: “Yay, welcome home! I’m glad it all went well! When it was my turn for this surgery they couldn’t find one of my, uh, items, because it had gone wandering I guess, so I had to stay overnight at the vet and it was this whole big thing.”
Java Bean: “Yikes! I’m glad I didn’t hear that story before it was MY turn for this surgery!”
Chaplin: “Yeah, I usually don’t tell it until afterwards.”
