Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Now that the weather WAS finally
sunny and dry…

we had to help Granny
in the garden…
…again…

because we had to prune
a lot…

Granny was happy with our help

and we were happy that we could help her too…

we showed her effurrything
that needed a haircut…

and marked it all
for her…
so she knew what she had to do…

Peachy made sure
that she woudn’t forget anything…

so she pruned Apple
…the apple tree…

and the grapes…

all under his supervision…
…and mine of course…

and there goes our Butterfly Bush
again…

now most of the hard work
is done…

but when the weather stays like this…
we have to do the rest…

because effurrything has been
affected by the cold and snow…

but we have flowers in Angel’s Place
that showed up at once…

…See…
they never were planted…

so it was extra special
when that little crocus showed her face
in Angel’s Place…
and a few others too…
✨✨✨

later we have to paint
the rusted garden rack…
which we already have sanded…

now we only have to wait for Granny…
until she’s ready with the trees…
but in the meantime
we can tell you
where we’re
T H A N K F U L
for today…

the most wonderful bird-migration
that we’ve ever seen…
they were dancing in the sky
like…err… diamonds…

Granny made a few pictures of it
…at the end of the dance…
when she realized that she could do so…🙈
that was
just before they disappeared behind the clouds
and that you could hardly see them
anymore…🙈
we have no idea what kind of birdies they were
nor if they were coming
or going to another country…
it was just beautiful to see them
and that’s more than enough to know
…sometimes…

Peachy come…

let’s just watch help Granny
with the poem today…
so she can continue her tasks…

Our furriends
Angel Sammy and Teddy send us this picture
so let’s see what we can do with it…

“Hey…guys
let’s make it very clear
I just made it up to here
and now I’m full of new ideas
and plans
for a renewed chance
and I just want to make a dance
of joy and perseverance
on my desk right here
but first I need a barrel of beer
to overcome my fear.”

Granny…
we also want to join our furriends
with the Furriday Fill Ins…
…so let’s do this again…
Peachy you start…

1. If someone offered me a free mousie, I would accept it. I like mousies and I like to hunt them, but for now they’re a little bit smarter/quicker than me, as they say, so effurry free mousie is welcome in my paws…🐭

2. If someone offered me a free ticket to the moon, I would refuse it. I believe the only way to get up there is when you close your eyes and dream on😹

3. I have birthdays memorized. About 40+ years ago I practiced i.a. Numerology and ever since I remember every birthday that comes to me 🙈but I have to admit that I don’t let them all get through any longer, because I have to keep a little space for myself in my head…MOL
4. My view of reality has really changed since I was younger. When I was young I thought that life was just happening to us, but since I know that I create my own life, I’m fully aware of what I am doing and thinking and if I don’t like what I see, I just have to change my perception, so that I can see things differently✨

Granny
let’s leave it at this…
…for now…
my reality says
…I’m hungry…
😹

📚📚Have a Happy Monday my furriends📚📚
🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

We enjoyed your poem! And Peachy and Stippie, what would Granny ever do without you helping her in the garden? YOu are such good helpers!
We love that the crocus came up in Angel’s space. That is truly special! XO

You boys are just the best help your Granny could have! LOOK at all you do! And I was glad to see you boys signed your poetry today. You are so busy, my goodness.
Tell Granny that I too know about perceptions and what they can do (or not) as we go through our lives. XX

The outdoors is really springing to life and it’s a good idea to get trimming or other things taken care of early. You boys did a good job helping Granny. I know she appreciates having y’all out there in the garden with her. :)

What a lovely post, lots in the garden , interesting facts, you two are on fire. We do have still lots of rain here and I am longing for warmth and blue sky. I spend lots of time in the garden too, tidying up , pruning and cutting back. It will be hopefully lovely when Summer comes. I also planted seeds.
Mar 11, 2024 @ 18:56:08
We absolutely LOVE the surprise flowers that grew in Angel’s Place. All flowers are special, but these are magical too!
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Wow, you guys are great garden helpers. I’m gonna have to have a heart to heart with Elsa and Wilson to see if they won’t help. We have good weather for a couple of days then a spring snowstorm. Too bad I have doctor appointments on the good weather days-otherwise I’d have to rake up the gazillion leaves that have blown in since autumn’s cleanup.
Mar 11, 2024 @ 17:27:28
Peachy and Stippie that was such a wonderful visit and update on your exciting garden lives!
So glad you could help Granny with all the chores—our kitties love doing the very same!
Those migrating birds were an awesome view.
Watch your crocus open up fully and enjoy them!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

Charlee: “Ooh, you have a butterfly bush? What time of year does it start producing butterflies?”
Chaplin: “We have GOT to get one of those!”
Mar 11, 2024 @ 15:32:24
That was a great newsy post. I wish we would get sun so I can tidy the garden up. Now every time I go on the lawn it squelches because it is so wet.
Mar 11, 2024 @ 15:17:31
You two are the best little helpers!
Mar 11, 2024 @ 15:14:32
What a lovely time in the garden. The weather looks so nice. We’ve been having some decent weather here too. You two are so adorable.
Love your fill-ins. It’s amazing how smart we get as we age. A wonderful thing.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Double Pawkisses to the kitties and a big hug to Granny. ♥

How fast the 2 kitties have grown! Beautiful cats indeed.
Mar 11, 2024 @ 14:00:40
Excellent job of being snoopervisors!
When plants appear that we didn’t dig in, we call them ‘volunteers’.
An excellent poem; why do men still wear neckties? Shouldn’t those have gone out of fashion by now?
Mar 11, 2024 @ 13:50:59
Oh you two wonderful gardeners…want to come here and help Loulou’s spirit plant our salad lettuces and radishes? Love the tock photo….
Mar 11, 2024 @ 10:15:18
What a wonderful, long, “newsy” post! The garden looks ready for another season of beauty – love the little crocus in Angel’s Place that chose that spot to live in. I like surprise plants! Trimmng everything back makes it stronger for this year. You boys are SO helpful to Granny! We love the filling in too – such wonderful and thoughtful answers. The poem was absolutely purrfect too. So many great things in today’s post. It’s a busy time of the year but thanks for taking time to pawticipate in all of the blog challenges too!!!
Hugs and Pawkisses, Teddy (and Mom)
