Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Look at The Bride
Stippie…

isn’t she amazing…

she certainly is Peachy…

who could have known that
she would still be standing there
in all her glory…

after all that rain, hail, storm and cold
from last week…

…oh….
and she smells
like heaven…

…yes she does…
and she tastes heavenly too…
her flowers taste like candy
I know all about it…😹

look how beautiful she is…
I hardly can’t take my eyes off her…

better you do…
because we have to help Granny
now…

okay…
I’ll keep an eye on the Virburnum…
so that she doesn’t prune it away
completely…

…that’s enough Granny…
we can’t hardly see
…anymore…
were she was standing…

you said she needed a cut
after the flowers fell off…
but Granny…really…
you’ve been to hard on this one…

yes we know that it comes back…
and they allways will…

like the Clematis…
it just needs a little more time
when it has pruned…

and look over there…

our pear tree is full in bloom too…
not that it will give us any pears though…
but at least he tries effurry year…

come here now Stippie…
it’s time to watch help Granny…

to make the wood so small
so that it fits in the organic waste bin…

so it isn’t all wasted…🙈

we do our best Peachy…
it’s a lot more
than we expected…

so it will take a while…

I can wait…
and do a poem for our furriends
…Angel Sammy and Teddy…
in the meantime…

let me help you with that
too Peachy…

yeah…
let’s work together on this one…

“The kids have worn you out
and now you pay the purrize
because once you thought it was easy
like in Paradise
but when it comes out not so nice
you can’t just close your eyes
and purretent that you can’t see
how they take advantage of the escapee
so better get up your feet
and give them the attention they need.”

Pretty soon I think our weeping cherry tree will be covered in pale pink blossoms, too! Then with a wind and orf rain we will have a carpet on our sidewalks and grass, LOL!
Your tree is amazing!
Your poem was purrfect!

You kitties are so sweet to help Granny with the garden, and I love the poem. 😽
Mar 31, 2024 @ 13:43:46
How hard your Granny must work on that beautiful garden! And how hard you must work snoopervising her! But it’s certainly worth it. It’s beautiful!!!

Your poem was great, as always, Peachy and Stippie. And Granny sure is fortunate that you two are so helpful in the beautful garden. XO

So much work goes into those beautiful flowers, I’m glad your Granny has good snoopervision.

Sweet. Happy Easter!

Granny did a good job pruning. There is going to be lots of green and flowers too. How are you Granny? We are going to winter now.
Mar 29, 2024 @ 21:18:19
You’re so lucky that Granny always knows when to prune and trim and how much and why and where. When Mom buys plants for the balcony, they start dying in the car on the way home. When we get here, she slowly but surely finishes the job! #poorplants #blackthumb

Dearest Peachy and Stippie,
Wow, things really love to grow in your back yard.
Yes, pruning needs to be done and I don’t think it was too much for the viburnum.
Enjoy Good Friday—day off from work and wishing all of you a Happy Easter.
You got two days for Easter—also 2nd Easter Day and that never existed here in the USA.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

Your flowers and the bride are beautiful. I usually just prune the long bits on the Jasmine, but last autumn Ivor cut it right down. Now it has grown to about the same size as yours. I was worried he had cut it too short but it seems to be doing well.
Mar 29, 2024 @ 13:40:07
I love those blossoms, so beautiful , I can’t get enough of it too. We need those blooms to get into Spring.
Granny did cut it rather short, I do need to follow her advice and do some like it too in my garden. It is good to know though that everything usually comes back lovely.
enjoy your garden you two nad keep helping Granny. 🙂
Mar 29, 2024 @ 13:00:11
“The Bride” was so gorgeous before her pruning but I’m sure she will be back with more blossoms very soon – the pruning will make her stronger! Nice of you two to snoopervise Granny and help her clean up the garden after. It’s a busy time in gardens everywhere – My Mom no longer has gardens in the yard but she does have a little garden on the front porch AND on the back deck. Easier for her to handle. Your poem is PERFECT! Never turn your back (or fall asleep) with two active little kids around or you may have a BAD surprise when you wake up!!! Have a PAWSOME day boys……
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam

Excellent poetry!
Right now, we only have pussy willows pussy-ing, and a few volunteer crocus are up.
Cannot wait to see my two new Spring gardens will do.

That’s a great poem. You guys have a beautiful yard.
