Hi (Furry)furriends😻

Faye
can you see something
from up there…

I can see effurrything clearly
Peachy…
I can see clearly now – Jimmy Cliff (1993)
(original of Johnny Nash 1973)

and over there
I see some English trees…
Crowded House – English Trees (2007)

…how about you Peachy…
do you see anything
interesting…

besides that you’re
under Olive…
Fake Plastic Trees – Radiohead (1995)

OMC
what happened with those trees…

they look so tall
and empty…
The Trees – Rush (1978)

can you explain me
why they look so…eh…
naked…
Turn! Turn! Turn! – The Byrds (1965)

I like them when the leaves
are green…

…yeah…
me too Faye…

it doesn’t only look warmer
but also smells better…

effurrything does…

but for now
we have to deal with naked trees…
Leaves that are green – Simon and Garfunkel (1966)

and patiently wait
until the next season awakes…
Not so far away – Andrew Ripp and Chris Rice (2019)

Charlee: “That was fun musical journey through some time in the life of the trees!”
Jan 29, 2026 @ 14:23:49
I like that you featured my favorite band, Rush. 🙂
Jan 29, 2026 @ 13:03:39
All our trees are bare too. I love how you blended your photos, and music selections. Purrs, and lots of hugs! 😽
Jan 29, 2026 @ 11:44:32
Lovely meaningful songs….turn, turn, turn into SPRING!!!! Merci for Mewsic!
Jan 29, 2026 @ 04:51:19
All our trees are so naked, we think they were glad to get some snow covering their branches…though the wicked winds broke off a lot of limbs around here. Spring can’t come fast enough.
Be careful up in that tree, Faye…
Jan 29, 2026 @ 03:34:12
The trees look like that here, too, Peachy and Faye. Never fear — we promise the leaves will come back soon enough.
P.S. – we love that Rush song!
Jan 29, 2026 @ 01:16:15
I like how your photos went with your music choices. I love Turn. Turn, Turn. XO
Jan 29, 2026 @ 00:59:07
I really enjoyed listening to these even Rush..well, they were ok. Usually I turn them off..lol. Seeing your pussy cats have made my day.
Jan 29, 2026 @ 00:36:16
You look like adventure kitties out there!
Jan 29, 2026 @ 00:02:25
Spring will be here all in good time. Keep being patient.
Jan 28, 2026 @ 23:31:27
Hey you two sweeties, that was a wonderful musical journey today!
Jan 28, 2026 @ 23:13:07
Such fabulous tunes, guys. You had me a bit scared being so high up in the tree. Go gently down so you don’t get hurt.
Jan 28, 2026 @ 23:02:12
A nice theme this week, and you introduced me to a number of songs I didn’t know (and a couple that I did know). Spring is still far away where I live, and I can’t say bye yet. I so wish spring would hurry up. Alana ramblinwitham
Jan 28, 2026 @ 21:20:47
I agree, the trees look much nicer with their leaves. Lovely selection of music as always.
Jan 28, 2026 @ 20:39:50
Trees look the same at my house, too. And don’t smell at all. DoggieMom agrees – it’s the season. But don’t worry, friends. No season lasts forever…
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah

Oh you two…Mom and I love seeing you out in the trees and having such a good day! We here at my home are always smiling when the trees get dressed again and the flowers come out to be enjoyed.
Jan 28, 2026 @ 15:05:01
The change in seasons isn’t too far away and I’m really looking forward to spring’s return. It’s been a really cold winter for us, starting just before Thanksgiving and hasn’t let up a lot. This week has been really wicked cold, too. You shared a number of new to me songs which is always refreshing. I appreciate the song share and for you joining us on the dance floor, furriends. Have a boogietastic week! xo
Jan 28, 2026 @ 14:35:25
Faye and Peachy, we see photos of snowdrop flowers blooming in England, and wish Michigan was nearer to spring than we are.
Jan 28, 2026 @ 14:33:20
So sweet, kind of super sweet, especially as all we see right now are trees of white … but sparkling, glittering white trees are very pretty too!
Jan 28, 2026 @ 14:05:52
We like seeing this post. Makes us think that there is the possibility of Spring in the far future. Trees with leaves! Love the songs. We got -23 C today and the snow is not meltin’! I’m in my bed tent until it thaws out.
Jan 28, 2026 @ 13:56:11
very clever choice of songs!
Jan 28, 2026 @ 12:59:56
A wonderful Wednesday to you all. I love whne drees get dressed too 🙂
Jan 28, 2026 @ 11:11:22
WOW – you can see far away from high in the tree but BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CLIMB you two……we can’t see any green leaves yet – just snow/ice – but we are on the lookout for them. We will be happy to say BYE BYE to Winter and WELCOME to Spring!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
