Hi (Furry)furriends🐱

…Granny…
I’m tired of watching
bird tv live…

…yeah…
…me too…

…you see…
the little magpie baby
had to learn to fly…

and he flew in the big tree…
that is standing in front of our house…
from there

mother magpie
brought him food…

then she flew down
and brought him a branch…

that he had to carry
for hours…
…as it seems…

…this went on and on and on…
and we ran from inside of the house
into our garden
and from our garden
into the house…

and one time he flew away
and the mama called him back…
…and we chattered along with her…😹
to make sure
that he would fly back
to the tall tree asap…

have you any idea
how exhausting this was…
but
we’re very
T H A N K F U L
that we can watch
bird tv live
…effurry day now…

and that reminds us
that we have to do a poem
for our furriends
Angel Sammy and Teddy
on this picture…

“OMC
I don’t want to see
all the people
that staring at me
as if they neffurr saw
a furry one before
I wish they looked
at another scene
so I don’t have to hide
the beauty of my side
maybe it’s time
to take off my paw
and stare right back
at who they are
so better beware
of the stare
of an ice-bear
who can follow you
anywhere.”

Oh we sure enjoyed the description of Mom Magpie teaching Baby some things about how useful branches are and where to find food and fly not too far to stay safe…..! Meanwhile you two have a wonderful tree of your own to lie down in and watch the wonderful things happening in your yard – then maybe take a nap and get ready for more fun. Life is pretty wonderful isn’t it????

It is much better to be able to watch live Bird TV!. That is a very good poem about the shy polar bear!

Peachy and Faye, I had always read and heard of Magpies all my life but I never saw one until I lived in Europe for quite a spell of time. They are BIG! And pretty too, I thought. Seeing European Robins was way different too…same name, but quite different. There is a black bird called Amsel in Germany that looks so soft…his eye is golden. We saw him on the ground often.
