…OMC Granny…
the cloudburst made a mess
in our garden…
…and it’s all still wet…
…froggie is still intact…
…the hail didn’t crushed him…
but look at that…
the wind blew out the
no-go-for-kitties fence…
and all our nip
is on the ground…
with only one die-hard
who’s hanging in there…
the others found a safe place
somewhere else…
maybe there’s someone hiding
in the little house on the purrairie…
or behind the fence…
it was very scary
and we all saw it coming
when the sky turned black…
Granny was on her way home
from shopping…
when the big hailstones
almost crushed her car…
and she almost had
to row up the mountain
because of the flood…
but it was over within half an hour
and Grandpaw repaired the fence
immediately when he came home
from work…
and Granny put the catnip up
with plant stakes…
the damages wasn’t as bad
as we thought
after all…
and we could sleep soundly…
until the next day…
after we did our artwork for
our furriends…
…and included a puzzle too…

Oh my – hailstorms are scary AND can do so much damage – we are so happy all of you (especially Granny who was in the car driving at the time!) are safe and sound and that all the repairs have been done. Hopefully no more hail – just sunshine and smiles! Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!
