Hi (Furry)furriends😻

…Oh no…
…look what Granny did…
we hardly recognize the place
anymore…

….there were Forget-me-nots
all over the place…

and I found out
…by accident…
that there were a lot of
bugs inside too…

…they were hidden under

and on the flowers…

and I did
my Selfies behind them…

while I smelled the scents…

and now
…there’s nothing to sniff
nor to play with
anymore…

just a mowed lawn…

without colour…

but it looks
like the Sun
has finally found his way
to our home again…

…not that it kept shining though…🙈
but at least it wasn’t that bare
after all…
🌻

It’s a shame the flowers had to go but the lawn must be mowed 🙂

Mowing down bugs sometimes is the only remedy to an infestation. The pathway looks neat as a pin, but hopefully there are enough seeds from the forget-me-nots for new plants to grow.

A playful and cheerful little moment lovely nature details and a warm, sunny Sunday mood despite the “bare lawn” change.

Charlee: “Somebody mowed down all the bugs?! Oh no!”Chaplin: “At least you won’t forget them! Or will you … ?”

Too bad those pretty flowers had bugs. We are happy you did get some sun to enjoy, though, Peachy and Faye. Hugs to you and Granny!

Jun 07, 2026 @ 22:04:55
We are sorry the forget-me-nots had to go away. They were very pretty, but then we actually came to see you two. Faye, we loved seeing the photos of your back. Your markings are sensational. We really appreciate you both hopping with us today. We hope you have lots of sun puddles this next week. Maybe you plant something else bug resistant but with blooms, who knows? I’m sorry the bugs came, I hope they are gone now and stay gone.
Jun 07, 2026 @ 20:09:04
As long as the sun is there, flowers will come back. Hopefully without the bugs!
Sloppy kisses,

Peachy, Faye, Mom loves Forget me Nots and all the other flowers that grow wild. She loves going out and taking their pictures.

I love forget me nots, I like to have as many as you have. ♥ Maybe next year , I have some though and they might multiply. I love your garden and your selfies in the garden!

Faye, you look delightful with the forget me nots. Lynn luvs blue flowers. Me, I love nippy plants bestest.

You look so pretty behind the flowers. Maybe they’ll grow back again!
Jun 07, 2026 @ 14:31:55
Well, darn, kitties!
However, your Granny knows what she’s about, and no doubts there will be other blooms around before too long.

All plants do go over, sad though it may be. But come next year I am sure there will be more plants and many more bugs to investigate! 🙂
Till then, forget them not is the order of the day. And who could forget such lovely selfies?
May you have a blessed, warm and happy week. And who knows what you may find new in your garden?
