T H A N K F U L
for
a quiet wash…
when Granny and Grandpaw
climb every mountain
by bike…
and make it look like it was
a piece of cake…
which it wasn’t…
even walking didn’t make it easier…MOL
I’m
T H A N K F U L
for the Moon…
if you can see her…
…as we could last month…
because now it’s raining cats and dogs…
which I’m
T H A N K F U L
for too
because it makes the garden happy…
Granny is
T H A N K F U L
that she had her first
pancake and cappuccino
in the Restaurant
since ages
as it seemed…
There’s so much more that we can be
Thankful for…
but for now
I have to close my eyes
so I can dream in
a Poem for Angel Sammy’s poetry hop…

“Once there was a Moon up in the sky
and she fell down from that height
into the water on the ground
floating as the dark night sound.
Someone had to put on the light
to that starry starry night
and when there was light
and the hours gone by
she turned up her head and cry.
O my O my
how do I ever get back there
into the sky
then a miracle came by
and suddenly she could fly
sky high.”
