The moving watering-can and a lot of surprises

Hi (Furry)friends

It has been a busy week

for Granny…

and me.

Granny was ~~baby~~ cat-sitting…

while I was guarding the garden.

There were a few intruders..

the usual clan…

but not worth mentioning…

except of one intruder

the other day.

Granny just arrived from cat-sitting

and she sat down..

with me in the garden…

and while she was cuddling me,

we both heard BANG….

We both looked around,

but couldn’t find where it was coming from.

BANG..there it was again..

I went up on the window-still,

to hear if it was coming from somewhere above…

BANG…. again,

and that something now got my attention…

I saw something moving in the watering-can..

and Granny saw the can moving,

while the BANGs now followed very quickly…

in succession…

Then I heard a scream…

and I saw a run inside of the house..

That was Granny…MOL…

and then I could see in the can

why Granny went inside…

This little frog was lost

in the watering-can..

I’m not sure if I was chasing him earlier….

so that he was ending up in the can…

Anyway…

I couldn’t get him out of that can…

so I had to call for Grandpa…

and he came and set the frog free,..

far away from me…

and Granny!

We were lucky that Grandpa was home,

so he could set the frog free…

Did you know that they scream,

when they see me…

well, that’s another story…

Now let me see what’s next..

Yeah, this is nice…

The weather has cooled of

and it’s raining…

so we have to do something other,

than panting and puffing because of the heat.

I thought it was a good idea

to play Cat-opoly…

….This is the Dutch version of it,

that’s why it’s written Kat-opoly…

but it is far more fun

than Monopoly.

It’s not only funny,

but it’s educational to..

you’ll learn all different kinds

of cat breeds…

Let’s read the manual…

You have to pay for your fleas..okay…

You can fall into the water, or learn to swim

and dry up in jail…

and ..last but not least…

you can get catnip when you’re lucky…

Sounds good, huh?

There’s only one problem…

You have to play it

with Family…

and that reminds me,

that we were awarded again

for the WordPress Family Award

by our friends at Fozziemum‘s.

That means that our family is getting bigger…

and bigger…

so we all can play Cat-opoly

TOGETHER.

and I won’t come out..

It’s to hot to leave the nest..

We were so triple diple lucky again

Today I was playing with something I’ve never seen before…

Actually I saw it before

here…

in the plants…

and more…

and ~~Granny~~ Grandpa took a few photo’s of the flying objects…

although…. these things were very much…

alive…

and big…

and purring…. well, in a way…

never mind….

They’re beautiful too…

and sitting on flowers…

and on Granny’s shoulder…

But what I saw

was funny at the same time…

I played with a little green moth…

but when Granny saw

~~at what I was lashed out~~,

with what I was playing,

she said that I had to leave the moth alone…

but then came ~~Danger~~ Stranger,

and again the moth was hit by a paw..

pats….

poor little moth….

and Granny said that Stranger

also had to leave the moth alone.

Then Granny sat down to do my overload email box..

and at once somebody

flew on her arm.

It wasn’t a moth…

it was a beautiful little green butterfly,

which she hadn’t ever seen before.

She googled for this little one

and his name was Summer-butterfly

(Geometra papilionaria),

living by night…

so she named him Geo…

Geo was thanking her for saving his life

and tried to fly away,

but he landed on the ground…

….he probably had a concussion…

It must have been ~~Danger~~ Stranger,

who gave him the final…~~.count down…~~ Pats…

Anyway, Granny picked him up in her hands

and set him free in the garden,

there she really saw his beautiful colors,

they were not only green,

but greenblue.

I just saw him passing by. Granny…

Of course I did…

What?

They’re only live at night?

This one has a concussion,

so he must have forgotten

that he’s a butterfly

living by night.

This was our first lucky happening…

I have to get into my Zen now,

before I tell you our second, third and fourth

event…

We have been nominated by our friend Yoshiko

My favourite things

Hi (Furry) Friends

I’m busy planting seeds

~~for a new life~~

for the garden.

Granny decided to start

to live her dream,

so we’re into business now…

She’s a cat-sitter volunteer now at

the Dutch Cat Protection Service

Kattenbescherming Nederland

and she takes care of the cats

of people who go on hollidays,

or who have to go to the hospital

and need someone to take care of their cat.

The money she’ll earn for it

goes directly to the foundation

to help stray cats,

old and sick cats,

pregnant cats and young kittens…

The foundation takes care of them,

They’ll be nurtured,

and getting a temporary or permanent place to live.

I think it’s a wonderful goal,

don’t you think?

Granny, what’s the next thing on the list?

Yes, now I remember..

My friend Princess Zena nominated me

us for this colorful award

and we’re really appreaciate this beautiful gift.

Thank you Princess for thinking of me

you’re one of a kind – that’s for sure 🙂

1. I’m a ~~grasshopper~~ grass-eater.

I really like that stuff…

not only to regulate my belly,

but grass is for me

what catnip is for others…

well, in a certain way…

I eat parsley too..

I think I’m a veggie 🙂

2 ~~– 6~~. Sleeping is my next favourite thing,

there is almost nothing that I like more…

and I could fill up this blog…

with sleeping photo’s…

sleeping in the sitter…

sleeping on my Grandpa’s couch…

and sleeping in my the bed…

we have lots of sleeping and chilling photo’s,

that you might get bored

with it…. MOL…

3. I like to lie in my nest..

I can sleep for hours in it

and watch the birds,

without letting them know.

It’s a good hiding place too,

except for the birds,

nobody can see me 😀

4. I like sun.. lots of sun..

maybe because I was born in summer..

I can lie in the sun for ages..

I’m a real sun-cat I think.

5. Granny belongs to my favourites too,

I like to be near to Granny…

I’m going everywhere where she is…

We do almost everything together,

like blogging,

studying, talking,

washing,

dish-washing,

cleaning the house..

the administration..

clearing up..

sleeping…

training…

and yoga…

and so much more,

but that would make this blog to long.

Besides that, I need something to preserve

for my next blog.

6. My last favourite thing is giving away

lots of pawkisses…

to all of my friends..

and to you too 🙂

…..

Now we like to pass this Award

to Cupcake and her mom.

Mom’s getting surgery on her knee

and we want to wish her well

with these beautiful ~~flowers~~ Award…
