Long time no see…
Well…
it has been a periode
of rough times…
and considerations.
…Granny let me sit on your lap
while I tell my furriends what’s going on….
“Granny, picture please…”
That’s not me…
remember Bobo? Well, that’s him….
In fact he is my brother,
but he’s still living with my mom..
and so is Sfinx..
my sister…
Sfinx is was the baby as you can see…
and my two other kitten-sisters…
which I haven’t met yet…
…Look Granny, they have already learnt how to catch a….
neglect this…
..and two little lovebirds…
and this is… I don’t have to tell them,
they know it’s me…
Now, let me tell the story.
…
Granny always did the baby catsitters work
at my mom’s house when mom’s on vacation,
but not this year,
because my mom and little twofeet
moved to another place
and that’s to far to drive,
so someone else had to take over Granny’s job.
A friend of my mom was asked to take care of the clan,
and he said yes, but meant no.
He knew the clan for a long time,
but factually he wanted to go with my mom and twofeet
on vacation instead of taking care of my furry family.
Anyhow..
after three days of holiday
my mom got a phonecall of her next door neighbour.
She told her that two of her cats
were staying in the garden for two days now,
and she hasn’t seen anyone around
who was taken care of them.
She asks if she had to bring them inside of the house.
My mom was startled
and said, yes, of course,
and the neighbour went to her house
to let Bobo and Sfinx inside.
They were half-starved…
so she gave them some food..
while one of the little ones came to eat too,
but the other little creature
was not seen anywhere…
This little Pumpkin was lost!!
When my mom heard this
she packed all of her things,
put my twofeet brothers and sister in the car
and drove home.
When she arrived home,
there was another surprise for her…
one of the birdies was lying lifeless in the cage.
My mom was heartbroken
and in tears….
and she called the so-called cat-sitter-“friend”
and ask him to explain how this could happen….
Listen to this, furryfriends,
here came all kind of poor excuses:
“no idea”, “haven’t noticed”, “this morning the bird still was ok”,
“I was sitting with the cat on the couch this morning”..etc.
….
To make a long story short
he lied trought the teeth!!
The Evidence:
He hasn’t been around at least for two days…
and hasn’t even noticed that the little Furball was missing.
… 😦 …
Thank Cat the little one was found a few hours later,
sitting safely in another neighbours house
who heard her meowing in front of the fence
THREE DAYS ago!!!!!!
..This is for irresponsible PEEEEEEEPle …
who say YES when they actually want to say NO.
…
We’ll never know what happened with the birdie,
but they were both okay when my mom left
and we have our speculations,
but one thing is for sure
it wasn’t me…
Fly free little Birdie…
and shine like a star
wherever you are.
…sigh…
Granny, I can’t leave my (furry)friends
behind sad …
let’s bring some cheerful news too.
My friend Nissy of Nerissa’s Life has nominated me
for the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award
We already have this Award.. ..well, not this shape,
but we’ll accept it with Gratitude.
Thanks my furriend,
I’ll bring you some catnip when I come over 😉
We’re very late with catching up all of your posts,
but it’s so much,
that we don’t see the wood for the trees anymore.
We do our best,
but please don’t feel neglected
if we’re not around so much anymore.
…
Well, Furries,
we need a little balance now…
so, come on,
let’s go meditate fishing…
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
PAWKISSES 🙂
Sep 25, 2013 @ 18:27:28
So sorry to hear about birdie. I don’t understand this. If you don’t want to, why don’t you say no? Saying yes, and leaving the animals to themselves with no food in the end? It makes me furious.
Sep 28, 2013 @ 09:53:17
Het is ook onbegrijpelijk, Dianda, en zeker als je iemand al jaren kent.. nou,ja, in dit geval: dácht te kennen! 😦 Dank je wel voor je inbreng. Fijn weekend 🙂
Sep 20, 2013 @ 09:07:59
What a sad story! Thankfully you have a good neighbour who noticed for you! What would have happened if you had been away for your whole holiday without knowing about the neglect!
Makes my blood boil!! Xxx
Sep 23, 2013 @ 09:32:05
Thank Cat, my mum was very lucky to have attentive neighbours, Barbara and That guy has been deleted from our lives. Thanks for your support. Very appreciated 🙂

Wow, what a life! 🙂
I’d love to see more of the kitten sisters… so gorgeous.
That bird – I’m so sorry. You’re right, shouldn’t say yes when we really want to say no.
Sep 18, 2013 @ 13:04:10
The kitties are so gorgeous. Granny made a few pics last Sunday of the kittens, but we have to cut Grandpa first..MOL…Thanks for your support, Noeleen. Very appreciated my furriend. Pawkiss 🙂
Sep 17, 2013 @ 16:26:45

Sep 18, 2013 @ 13:19:04

Sep 08, 2013 @ 21:49:58
Oh my catness that is such a hiissy!
We so want to scratch and bite that person.
Not good that any of this happened but it is good that this person, and I use that term very loosely, was found out before gaining any more into Moms Life.
We are purring for the little one
Timmy and Family
Sep 11, 2013 @ 08:11:28
Yes, we can handle that…Loser…roughly all together!! Great to have furriends like you. Thanks for your comfort, Timmy and family, very appreciated 🙂

Sep 07, 2013 @ 23:06:41
I am sorry you all had such a bad time and the poor bird died. The sitter is no friend. What he did was criminal.
Sep 11, 2013 @ 08:26:15
Yes, it is, Flynn. It’s terrible when you think your animals are in good hands and afterwards it turns out very wrong 😦 Thanks for your comfort Pal, very appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 20:16:04

Sep 11, 2013 @ 08:31:18
Good advice, Marion, let’s all sit on that Loser! Thanks for your support, very appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 15:58:50
Oh my. This is very sad. What a hard lesson for all of you on who to trust. I hope you all is back in balance soon.
Sep 11, 2013 @ 08:48:52
Indeed a hard lesson, Lorian, but it’s learned. Next time I’ll
babycatsit again and no one else. Thanks for your support, very much appreciated 🙂Sep 07, 2013 @ 14:34:16
I hate that sad story, Little B. What a meanie of a friend. Thank goodness the little kitten was found. I hope all of your family is able to recover well from this loss and disappointment.
Love and extra licks for everyone,

Sep 07, 2013 @ 13:35:23
Donc… certains amis… n’en sont pas!
J’envoie mille caresses à tous ces animaux et une pensée amicale pour l’oiseau parti voler au ciel.
Sep 11, 2013 @ 08:58:07
That’s very kind of you, Vkalinkaneo and you’re so right, those people are no friends, we call them… losers, and that’s put mildly. Thanks for your support, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 11:19:36
Aw, I’m so sorry about the ordeal for granny and the kitties and of course the little bird. That is a very naughty “friend.” 😦
*sending lots of hugs and kitty cuddles* 🙂
xx
Sep 11, 2013 @ 09:06:35
We banished that…Loser from our lives, Hope. Granny already had a bad feeling about him, he was just after her daughter. Hard lesson 😦 Thanks for your support, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 10:14:40
Oh it’s a sad story! Choos the “animal-sitter for the holiday” it’s a hard work… 😦 But we wish at the birdie lots of love and peace…. Purrs for L. Binky and “cip” for other little birds!
Sep 11, 2013 @ 09:12:58
He was only thinking about himself…that LOser.. It was a hard lesson, but the lesson has been learned. Granny will cat-bird-sit next time again, no matter how far she has to drive 🙂 Thank you for your support, Laliluce, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 10:12:48
Oh dear, what a sad thing for sure Little Binky. I can just imagine how upset you and Granny must have been because of this. Yes, it’s not nice if people say they will do something for you and then they don’t. I am lucky that I can leave my little man with one of my sons when I need to go somewhere for an hour or two and can’t take him with and will never leave him with someone else. If it happens that I can’t leave him at home with one of the boys, then I just don’t go anywhere. Most of the times he just rides with us. I am just glad that the little one was found and it’s sad about the birdie. And then this ‘sitter’ thought lying was good too. Bad, bad person indeed!
I just love the fishing cats. They are just adorable! As usual Granny posted the most beautiful photo’s of you Little Binky. You are so gorgeous! Congrats on the award as it’s well deserved for sure and you and Granny must have a great weekend now. *big hugs* and lots of love. xxx
Sep 11, 2013 @ 09:46:24
Granny is a kind of the same, Sonel. I have my private catsitter, in fact he’s the best furriend of Grandpa, and when he’s not around, Granny doesn’t leave me alone. Usually Granny catsitters at my mom’s place, this was the first time she didn’t, because of the distance… but now she says, that even if she has to drive a hundred miles, she will do. We banished the…Loser, so that he never can do harm again!
Granny and Grandpa always bring me something from hollidays, they brought me these fishing cats and they’re really COOL. Thanks for your support my furriend, very much appreciated. Pawkisses 🙂
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:03:03
I am glad to hear the Loser has been banished Little Binky. Furry kids like you needs the best sitters ever and I know Granny will never ever leave you with anyone that won’t take care of you. Those fishing cats are just adorable. I wish I could get presents like that..heheheh.
You’re very welcome my furry friend. Take care and big hugs and lots of love to you and Granny. xxx
Sep 07, 2013 @ 09:12:22
Image that is one ex friend. Nightmare scenario.
Sep 11, 2013 @ 09:50:16
I was thinking the same, Annie, even if he was just a
friendLoser. Featuring 9 1,5 weeks… That Loser is banished out of our lives. Thanks for your support. Very much appreciated 🙂Sep 07, 2013 @ 08:53:13
You still call that person a friend.??? I’d call him a B……, a unfeeling s…., and of course I’d never call him a friend again… in fact in my case I’d probably kick his A…., unfeeling S…..
Sep 11, 2013 @ 09:53:52
We banished that.. Loser out of our lives, Bulldog. He’s not worth of even talking about. Thanks for your support, Bulldog, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 06:26:12
I’m so sorry. 😦 fly free little birdie. Glad everyone was okay and found. Pets & purrs to you, I hope you have a much better week.
Sep 11, 2013 @ 09:57:00
We banished that Loser out of our lives, PLW, and feeling much better now. It was a hard lesson, but I’ll take over the catsitting part again in the future, even if I have to drive a hundred miles. Thanks for your support, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 06:18:10
I am so sorry to hear all the stress you have went through and for the loss of Birdie…I have a small zoo, and I quit taking vacations because of people like your friend…( if you are in Texas, call me next time…)
I am glad all are safe and with you now…still so sad about your bird…I hope the other one is okay….though he/she will be at a lose without their partner…
Take Care…You and Your Family Matter….!

That’s very sweet of you, Maryrose, but Granny says, that she will catsit again next time, even if she has to drive a hundred miles. We banished the…Loser out of our lives, so he can never can do harm again. Thank you for your support, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 11, 2013 @ 17:59:24
I did that too!..I came back and there was no water for my zoo and it was 99degrees outside..
you learn painful lessons on what a person is made of when they do things like that…
the offer stands though LOLs..
Take Care…

Boo hoo, that is heart breaking story. The poor thing. It’s bad enough that your furry friends were starving to death and one feathered one went to heaven, but lying is really BAD!. Sending you hugs and kisses to you Blinky and Granny. =^.^=
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:05:35
We banished the..Loser out of our lives, Seeker and he’s not even worth to talk about anymore. Thank you for your support, my furriend, very much appreciated 🙂

So sorry. It’s never easy. Cyber hug to you.
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:07:12
Thank you, Mildred. We banished the Loser out of our lives, so that he can’t do no harm anymore. Thank you for your support, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 01:10:38
oh, the nerve and so sad, Little Binky. i hope many birds fly over this person’s head soon and drop their bombs on his stupid head. well, take it easy and go sit with your Granny. she probably needs some r n r after all of this. ♥
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:13:10
Great idea, Sunshine. First we hiss, bite and scratch him, then we SIT on him and then we let the birds out to s….on him… But first we have to find him, ’cause we banished him out of our lives. Thanks for your support, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 11, 2013 @ 14:43:50
Little Binky, i would scratch out the hissing and save all your energy clawing the *beep* out of him. 😆
then, it is good to know, he probably made his own bad karma. it will all come back to him – someday.
Sep 07, 2013 @ 00:30:45
Love this!
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:16:27
It was haertbreaking, Cindy, but we banished that…. Loser of of our lives, so he can never do harm again. Thanks for your support, my furriend, very appreciated 🙂
Sep 07, 2013 @ 00:23:26
Oh my! My human would probably have been so mad that the so called friend would have needed to hide some place safe! Seriously, how irresponsible is this.
That’s why my human is having a hard time trusting people she really don’t know.
I am so sorry for the little birdie 😦
Lots of purrs
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:30:40
We knew this Loser for a long time, Texas, that’s why it’s so unbelieveable that he turned out so irresponsible, but now we banished him out of our lives. It was a hard lesson 😦 Thanks for your support, Pal, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 06, 2013 @ 23:47:32
Tar and feather the so-called friend. So very sorry.
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:33:27
Great, we put that right after the hisses, scratches and bird poop, Sheila and then we go SIT on him! Thanks for your support, very appreciated 🙂
Sep 06, 2013 @ 23:38:18
Oh, I am so sorry! This is an awful thing to go through – it is always difficult when we lose our furry – and feathered – friends. This is made so much worse when we trust someone who does not deserve that trust. I send you much love and hugs for a speedy and happy resolution.
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:36:42
We banished the Loser out of our lives and next time Granny will do the catsitting again, even if she has to drive 100 miles. Thanks for your support, Pauline, very much appreciated 🙂
Sep 06, 2013 @ 23:31:46
So sorry for the birdie! Woooooooooowoooooooooooo!
Sep 11, 2013 @ 10:37:11
Thanks for your support Kuruk, very much appreciated 🙂
