Last Sunday Granny and Grandpa
went to a national reserve,
nearby where I live.
I wasn’t allowed to come,
…like usually… 😦
…but I’m allowed
to make a recapitulation,
of the things they’ve seen…
Well, better something than nothing!
I’m still not allowed on the computer,
but I have a pen,
to write it all down…
I only miss a piece of paper…
Before I begin
I have to mention
that the pics
are not so good…
“Granny, I don’t have to tell them,
they already know by now that your cell-phone
has had its bestest years…”
*mumbles* and that you’re not handy either…
…
Now, let’s start…
The name of the place is “Loetbos“
and when you look at this picture
you see the cows graze in the meadow…
..come take a closer look…
And now look on the right side,
next to the right tree….in a distance…
..well, now it’s in the middle… in the distance…
there you see a white gate,
at least,
something that looked like a gate…
and the cows had noticed it too,
that the gate was broken….
This is on the other side….
here’s one naughty cow,
telling Granny that they
have broken loose…MOL…
and now they’re gonna take a looooong walk…
all together…
“Come on guys, let’s do something naughty…
come on lets run…moo moo”
Y E E H A W …
Look how far they went…
and they really had a great time…
untill..
somebody sent them back…
..and they were listening to that man…
and went right back to their meadow.
If only I was was there,
I could have lead the cows,
They probably wouldn’t noticed that I’m a cat,
I’m black and white too….
and I can run and be mischievous
just like them..
YIPPEE..
What’s next, Granny ?
The environment in “Het Loetbos” is Pawsome…
There are sheep…
…no that’s not me on the right sight..
I know I have a belly…
wooden bridges…
The same bridge…with a dragonfly…
close-up…
and the same dragonfly hitch-hiking on Grandpa’s shoulder…
beezzzz…
a tame Jackdaw
Granny, why didn’t you bring Jack Daw…
we could be friends, you know?!…
A beautiful
almost over-exposed photo view…
and this last picture..
Okay, okay, guys, I have to admit
it is beautiful…
It’s almost not to believe
that we have so beautiful places nearby
the City.
It was a long post again,
as you are used to from me,
so I need a drink now
and some time to nap.
Happy Weekend everyone
and see you later!

Once upon a time I lived in Kent [just outside of Canterbury] and used to walk along a river bank with views not unlike the ones shown here – takes me back! 🙂
Oct 11, 2013 @ 10:09:13
We love nostalgia, Pauline. Nice memories 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂
Oct 05, 2013 @ 17:36:41
when I used to be married we lived or rented a property that was a farm house, complete with barn animals. Every time we turned around the cows were breaking through the fence and we would have to go play round up games. lol, good pictures!
Oct 11, 2013 @ 10:13:02
Hehehehe, so they’re all the same..MOL..they’re really mischievous, Terry, you can see it in their face 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂

Thanks PL&W. All Granny’s lucky shots 😉 Pawkisses right back at you 🙂
Oct 05, 2013 @ 15:03:56
I think it’s best you didn’t go along, Little B. I have never seen a cow, but they look clumsy and unaware. You might have gotten stepped on by those runaway crazies! You sure can weave a great story, though…. Thanks for taking us to visit. It’s a nice treat for a city dog like me! xoxo
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Oct 11, 2013 @ 10:17:44
Cupcake, they’re quite mischievous, actually…hehehe… but you have to watch out, that you’re not stepping in their cow sh…poop. No no no, that’s not like goose poop, Pal 😉 Pawkisses 🙂
Oct 05, 2013 @ 14:39:39
What a gorgeous area you and your granny live in. Thanks you for taking Granny’s pictures and telling us the story so well, Binky 🙂 You are so precious!

Thanks Misifusa. I have to deal with the pictures and the smell of…. nature 😉 Pawkisses 🙂
Oct 05, 2013 @ 12:05:59
The photos show such a lovely area… I can’t see why Gran can’t take you with… you would have met so many different things to talk to…
Oct 11, 2013 @ 10:26:46

Oct 11, 2013 @ 10:39:25
