Hi (Furry)furriends💗

I have to take care an eye on the violets…
there’s a whole army of ants inside…
trying to eat our pear tree…

so far they only have eaten
the violets…

but I see them going up and down
effurry time I watch them…

and sometimes they bring their eggs too…
but don’t know if they’re bringing them into the pot
or dragging them outside of it…
…they’re with to many…🙈

and I take care of the seedlings…

…see…
all furresh sown seeds…

but Stippie…
you have to take over here now…
I have to catch take care of that mousie…

who ran into the housie…

okay Peachy…
run quick…

I take care of the seedlings…
…did you get the mousie…

…not yet Stippie…
it slipped through my paws…
but I have a lot of patience…
so I can tell you where we’re
T H A N K F U L
for this week…

all the seedlings that sprout out…
we have two little greenhouses more
…there’s only one problem…
Granny didn’t put names on the pots🙀
and doesn’t know who is who anymore…
🙈at this age they all look almost the same🙈
…well…
…life is full of supurrizes
and so are pots…😹😹

and look who’s back…
despite of the almost-effurry-day rainfalls…

and she’s back also…
we’re so
T H A N K F U L
that they came to visit us again…
…talking about visitors…
he’s only stealing taking some thatch
…effurry early morning…
for his nest somewhere else…
…Thank Cat…
as this is also the biggest Hornet we’ve ever seen…🙈

and Granny is very purroud
of her granddaughter…our twofeet niece…
…on stage to the left side of the picture…
who gave a great performance
…together with her furriend
and classmates…
for their final year at primary school…
💗💗💗

I’m still waiting for the mousie, Stippie…
it still can take a while
before he comes out…
so I can do a poem for our furriends
Angel Sammy and Teddy
too…

“Now look at that man
who doesn’t have time to see
how to set up a pawty
for you and me
he let hang it all out there
in a long line
and making us feel
mighty fine
now don’t say that you don’t see
that he brought his own garland
after his pee.”

Haha, my partner does the same , pute seeds in then then doesn’t remember what is what. I got little sticks so I remember. It is fun to see what comes out though.
Good to havbe garden time, we are out all the time too to improve things.

Granny must be very proud of her granddaughter. The seedlings are growing well. I have a lot that have re-sown from last year. I think some are weeds but I am giving them a chance to flower. Others I am sure are antirrhinums which I had in the raised flower bed last year. The roses are beautiful. I bought a new one for Flynn last year because his died. This one also died even though we put new soil where it had to go. I think it was because of all the torrential rain and storms last autumn and winter and it didn’t get chance to establish. I hope the new one we bought this spring does better.
I can’t remember if I thanked you for your lovely card, prayers and good thoughts. I hope I did and apologise if I hadn’t.

Those little seedlings will be fun to figure out what’s what when they get a little bigger….meanwhile I hope you are able to find the mouse in the house because even though they’re fun to chase, they’re not so much fun to live with! The poem you all did for Poetic Thursday was so funny my Mom almost laughed herself out of her chair! Tee Hee Thanks for having fun with us boys and Granny 🙂
Love, Teddy

With teamwork you’ll get everything protected, kitties 🙂
Jun 22, 2024 @ 08:32:50
Well, when you learn what your seedlings are, you will be even more thankful for them, LOL!
Congrats to the 2-feet Granddaughter.
That hornet will surely give me nightmares!!
Your poem made me giggle!
Hope your pear tree will not get eaten before the fruit can ripen.
Jun 22, 2024 @ 03:34:44
Ants and mousies, oh my! I don’t mind them if they stay outdoors.
Anyway, it sounds like you have much to be thankful for, seedling surprises and fun performances by family and other great stuff. I also enjoyed your poem it was clever.
Jun 22, 2024 @ 01:59:05
You guys are such good gardeners. I’m sure Granny appreciates your help. Hope you manage to get rid of the ants. Here it’s grasshoppers that are munching on stuff. 🙄
Jun 22, 2024 @ 01:37:12
That was a funny poem. Your roses are spectacular. And you are both adorable. Congrats to Granny’s granddaughter. XO
Jun 22, 2024 @ 01:31:25
Granny sure has a green thumb!!!
Jun 22, 2024 @ 01:24:36
We know someone who also didn’t mark what she planted; mystery flowers!
That is certainly a huge wasp…scary!
Jun 22, 2024 @ 00:09:55
We always enjoy seeing how hard you two work in your garden and it pays off in beauty. Those are all most wonderful thankful too and a fun poem. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Jun 21, 2024 @ 23:00:08
OH the roses are very beautiful. I wonder what their name is? The hornet is awful looking. I hope he got his allotment of thatch and left, never to return.
Boys, you did well with the poem! I am proud of you.
The seedlings look wonderfully healthy. I wonder too, who they are. 🙂
Catch that mousie or he will swim all the way over here.
Jun 21, 2024 @ 22:02:14
Dearest Stippie and Peachy,
Congrats with your two–feet niece and that makes Granny no doubt very proud.
Also those roses look like magazine worthy—stunningly beautiful.
Seedlings look healthy and it sure is quite a task to baptize them all in time to know their name… It will be a surprise.
Too bad that a mousie escaped and went into the house but you no doubt will locate that and bring it outside again!
Big hugs,
Mariette + Kitties and Spooky boy with his sister Tiggy Tiger took an almost 3–hour nap with me. Felt so good. Could not sleep from all the pain for nights. Now using the wedge under my knees and it kind of shifts the pressure off my stent–graft area. Did dream about my Pieter, we were doing somewhere consulting and I’d slept in the open, curled up on a wedge and he put his arms around me and said: for tonight we have a real bed! HOW SWEET💞

What a beautiful dream, Mariette. We got goosebumps when we read it, so he must have been with you especially this night, while you were in pain. See, he’s still with you and taking care of you, he always will✨ Healing Pawkisses for you dear furriends🐾😽💞
