Granny’s new friends

Granny, what are you doing with all the bread?

Oh, you’re gonna feed the geese and duckies …and chicken..

oh, no chicks..

waterhens and coots..

Granny, yesterday there were two waterhens on the shed, they were hungry too, but when I wanted to give them food, they flew away.

No, granny, I don’t tell fibs..

Why I’m licking my mouth?

No, not because I’m thinking of the waterhens, but…

because I finished eating the crumbs you left me, that’s all.

Ok, I get off the sink.

What, can’t I come to feed the duckies and geese? Why not?…

Of cause they’ll come even if I’m around, they won’t bite me…

are you sure ~~they’re bigger then me.~~it’s to cold for me outside..

well, in that case, I’ll wait for you at home and tell my (furry)friends about our new feathered friends.

This is the place my granny goes almost daily lately to bring our feathered friends something to eat.

They’re starving since winter did appear.

When they see her coming in the far distance, they begin to croak and run towards her…(this picture was made while biking, so it’s not very sharp)

they already know it’s granny…

and they’re sitting on her feet, between her legs and she’s talking with them…

she has to, because otherwise they jump on each other to get some food…

but she tells them that she has enough for all of them…

and they seem to understand,

because they’re waiting patiently…

and when they’re not, she tells them to take it easy and guess what… they’re all standing still. Amazing, isn’t it 🙂

And this one is a special one. He’s following granny the whole time, untill she leaves and is trying to get her attention and when he doesn’t get it, he is picking on her. She thinks he’s a beauty with expressive blue eyes….

I think he’s the golden goose, I mean, the goose with the golden eggs..

Granny, maybe he is a she…

No, I’m not jealous… not at all…

When the food is finish, granny tells the feathered friends that she’ll be back and tells them that they have to go inside of the water now, because otherwise they’ll be freezing…

and then they go, running or flying into the water and she wents home…

where I am waiting for her under the table ~~almost frozen to death~~…

Oh, not outside.. I mean..

…inside on the window-still and acting as I was asleep all the time…

Well, I’m a little sleepy ~~still~~ now, but I just want to say one thing more.

If it’s freezing outside, our feathered friends don’t have anything to eat. Besides they’re feeling cold, they’re starving. It’s necessary to feed them supplementary. They’ll be thankful at you and you make new friends ~~and in time I take the eggs~~ 😉

Help is needed.. don’t stay inside… ~~like me.~~..

Granny, I need some cuddling now…purrrrrrr…

and purrr to grandpa for making the photo’s 🙂

Granny started blogging in August 2011 and she began to tell stories about me and healthy stuff, but then I got so passionated about ~~myself~~ it, that I wanted to have my own blog and there’s something about me, I always get what I want, so granny decided to make it my blog. It’s still in progress, but I start to like it how it is now.

13. Why do you like to blog? I like to tell what I’m doing and what’s happening in my life and all that funny stuff and sometimes a little less funny, or just sad and share that with my furryfriends all over the world. I like to have friends, now I’m alone, without Big Binky and Angel. Granny says that she was surprised to see so many furry bloggers and that made her so much more excited to blog ~~for me.~~ Our English isn’t still what it must be, but we can meow among each other and to be honest… who needs words anyway 🙂

Did you look outside the window lately..

..maybe you see it better now…

It’s raining constantly since a few days now…

and it’s cold out here in the Netherlands…..brrr…

The people who know me, know that I’m not afraid of rain, but with this *peep*weather, you must turn yourself around and make it yourself comfy on the window-still…

and then tell your friends about the good things in life 🙂

What makes you happiest? When I’m together with my granny and grandpa.

Do you love the Ocean or the Mountains more? I have fear of hights…don’t laugh at me, I know I’m a cat, ~~but I am like my granny~~ ,… so I prefer the Ocean and there’s probably more fish in it.

What has been your favorite moment of 2012? My Our first ABC-award. given by Sunshine and Chuckles and the launching of our Dutch/English blog.

What is your favorite quote and why? “A meow massages the heart”.. and gives me food… and loves..and pity…and treats… 😀

Do you like yourself? Yeah.. ~~I’m sometimes full of my own importance~~.. *sigh*

Do you stay up till the Stroke of Midnight on New Years Eve? I had no choise, the bang bang wasn’t over yet and granny and grandpa were still downstairs and so am I 😦

Something you wish you get it done ASAP? Helping granny finishing her study, so we can do nicer things, like looking out of the window together, sleeping on her lap constantly and working on my blogs and to write a new introduction in English on my our blog.

What was your favorite class while still in school? Granny learned me a lot, like to conquer my fear of cats and people and little twofeet, maybe she’ll teach me drawing soon, that was her favorite class, when she was ~~young~~ in school.

What musical instrument have you tried to learn to play? Rhythmpaw.

Anything you wish you had learned earlier? Yeah, to defend myself against other cats.

Do you like to do crafts or draw or even paint? Granny can do it all, but I can learn… or dream about it 🙂

This sweetie, named Jangles, has run away. She lives in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa. Maybe some of my friends, who lives there, can help to find her back or pass this on to their friends to find this little sweetie. Thanks for the help!

Long Life Cats and Dogs

Probably 90% of my readers are from the international community, which makes this a rather desperate attempt. However, based on the “six degrees of separation” principle, I am hoping that this truly phenomenal blogging community could do me the ultimate favour of passing this information to anyone they know.

My dear, previously abused and, therefore, terribly frightened cat, Jangles, somehow managed to escape from her run at the cattery / boarding facility in which she was staying whilst I was away. Being the scared cat that she is, it is highly unlikely that she will approach a stranger. However, I am putting out her photograph here, in the hope that someone, somewhere, knows a person who might have seen her scurrying under bushes.

Jangles was at a facility in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa. I have been in the area every day, calling for her. She will be scared and…

Nou, ik ga je vertellen waarom…

Ik dacht bij mezelf, waarom begin je, voor de verandering, het jaar 2013 niet met een nieuwe onderscheiding…

en een nieuw gezicht…

nee, oma, niet dat Gizmo hoofd…

Juist, ja, dit is de goeie…

1. Ik vind het leuk om de plaats van een ander over te nemen en net te doen alsof die van mezelf is. Als oma van de bank op staat, dan ga ik snel op haar plaats zitten en als ze dan terug komt… drie keer raden wie er dan ergens anders moet gaan zitten?

2. Ik lig nu op mijn lege kerstsok voor de kerstboom en wacht hoopvol dat iemand hem weer vult…

3. Ik heb tegenwoordig een gek uurtje. Oma zegt dat de stress van de laatste paar weken eruit moet. Ik vraag me wel af waarom oma dan ook niet door het huis rent.

4. Ik doe tegenwoordig dingen, die ik anders nooit deed. Als mijn oma en opa weggaan, dan wacht ik op de tafel, totdat ze terug zijn. Sorry, geen foto hiervan.

5. Ik ben een regenkat. Ik speel graag in de regen en ik droog mijn voeten, als ik weer naar binnen ga, op oma’s schoot. Ik vind dit zo leuk, dat ik steeds weer in en uit loop.
