Hi (Furry)furriends💗

It’s still hot and stuffy in our Country….

no wind at all…

but it’s raining quite a bit in between…

so I take a little breather outside

when it’s dry…

but we have great news…

the ventilation system in our house

has been repaired…

So today we’re very

T H A N K F U L

that we can finally breathe again…

…even if it’s just a little…

and now I need some time

to concentrate

for my weekly poetry hop

with my sweet furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy

and this week’s picture…

“There’s a chapel

in the snow

it’s very small

’cause it won’t grow

out there in the cold though

but inside there is some light

that warms your heart

to feel just bright

not only during the day

but also at night.”

A Poetic Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

I’m

T H A N K F U L

that Granny put up…

my Beach umbrella…

so that I can go to my beach in the morning

without getting burnt by the Sun…

Granny is

T H A N K F U L

for

her numerous

Cherry tomatoes

that are ripen up now…

and the not-yet-ripened beef tomatoes…

Did I say beefie….*drool*

the rich harvest of our little apple tree…

the other half without the wurms

 are in the refrigerator…

and these four new born

lemon plants…

that Granny sowed from the pits

out of a lemon…

that you can do with the pits of a tomatoe too…

just by drying them

put them in a pot

give them lots of love

and water

and always smile and talk to them…

they’re so curious to see you

so they come out as soon as they can…MOL😹

she was really purroud and

T H A N K F U L

when she saw the first little stem…

…see…

that’s the number one who’s the biggest now…

I have to hurry now…

the temperature is rising

and I have to go in…

let’s see if I still have time

to do my poem for my furriends

Angel Sammy and Teddy…

“When it seems

that you lost your way

and the dogs jump around and play

instead of leading you

into the right direction

because they were so in distraction

you have to take action

and look further

to find a birder

that could lead you back on track

on the horseback.”

I have to find myself a cool shady spot

as the heat is coming over us

again…

so let’s see if there’s a spot for me

where I can tell you

for what I’m

for today…

that wasn’t so far…

a purrfect place to be

T H A N K F U L

for today…

and for another

that I received from my new furriend

but that I was to slow

“Look at him working

her furresh groom

while she stood purroud

as a flower in bloom.

They were just driving

on their honeymoon

when the tire said big bam boom

so now instead of having fun

he had to change the tire at once.

But nothing could get

that smile of her face

when she realised

that he would do everything for her

in the first place.”

Granny

come quick…

look what I’ve found…

it’s right there…

see that?

it looks like a piece of wood…

but it hops around…

it’s a Woodhopper Grasshopper…

and I already had two of them…

…in my tummy…🙊

because they’re very yummy…

but now I have to be aware…

that there’s no birdie around

who wants to steal it from me…

so you better come quick

before I put my teeth in it…

Now you guess what I’m

T H A N K F U L

for today…

“You can purretent

that it’s a melon

and it sure tastes like heavon

but if you look really deep

you don’t know that

while you were asleep

you were completely out of focus

because when you took that bite

it wasn’t a watermelon

but my locust.”

No…

I’m not playing with my treats

Granny…

I know you can’t play with food…

I only wanted to be

T H A N K F U L

for them…

and eat them right after…

they’re very yummy…

for my yesterday’s tanned tummy…

I only have to move chew a little longer

but my teeth are still intact…

so I’m very

T H A N K F U L

for them too…

and I’m

T H A N K F U L

that I can do another poem today

for my furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy

with this picture…

“Oh, Granny,

it looks like a decade ago

when we were playing

with marbles

you know…

full exitement

on the floor

you hit the balls

but I’m not sure

if they were rolling

through the door

straight on my couch

upon my blankie

to play a little

hanky panky

and eat them right after

as sugar candy

but as they weren’t the treats

that I could eat

I didn’t look happily after

but bittersweet.”
