pussThe rules are simple – If you’re the reader you must click on through and see the Haphazard answers of the tagged bloggers – after all, it’s likely if you like what we write over here you’ll like the blogs of these new friends! If you’re the tagged blogger, your instructions are below!

Here are the Haphazard Questions!

 1. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed? My doors are always open… it’s a kind of embarrassing…

2. What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name? Princess Binka, to make sure everybody knows I’m a lady.

3. What’s the worst/most embarrassing CD/album you’ve ever owned and do you still have it? In fact I don’t have CD’s, but I can get crazy of cats who are in heat. They never stop with their caterwauling and it’s a kind of embarrassing for me, because I was sterilized, but they still get after me. Wonder why….

4. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Myself.

5. When was the last time you cried from laughter, and why? When granny is playing with me and she can’t catch me, that’s really funny.

6. Do you like to use Post-It© notes? Granny has them all over the table and her desk, but I avoid them, because I don’t like those sticky things under my feet.

7. Do you practice your smile for pictures? Nope, I’m a natural beauty smiling cat.

8. Do you sleep with your sheets out or tucked in? Out, I tuck myself in next to granny.

9. What is the most bizarre item of food you’ve ever eaten? Only grasshoppers, not so bizarre I think.

10. Do you chew on your pen/pencil? No, I like to play with pencils’, but granny told me she ate whole ink-pens and pencils, when she was a little girl. Everbody wondered why she was always full of ink around her mouth and vingers…

11. What’s your least favorite movie? Puss in boots.

12. Where would you bury a hidden treasure if you had it? In the corner of my favorite hiding place at the window still.

13. When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper? With of without my pawprint?

14. What was the first concert you attended? I haven’t been on a concert yet, but granny told me her first concert was with David Bowie in 1972 or ’73 in Rotterdam.

15. Have you ever won a spelling bee? No, I run after bees, I didn’t know they can spell… That’s not what is meant? O, you mean a play? No winning for me 😦

16. Do you hold your nose when you jump into a swimming pool? I never jumped into a swimming pool nor in a ditch, but I like to puddle with Bongo 😉

17. Are you patient? Not always, but mostly I am.

18. What is the type and model of the first phone you ever had? I have a natural telepathic line, you can call it the Binky-phone if you want.

19. Favorite celebrity? Puss in boots, no question about it.

20. Who is your favorite American president? Why? Ronald Reagan, because he was a cowboy before, just like my grandpa.

21. What would you do with a $1 million lottery winning? I buy a big house with a big farm for my granny and grandpa and make my granny’s wish come true. She dreams to have an “old cats home” and take care of them for the rest of their lives. She says that somebody has to look after them, while their persons have to go on in another world, or when they have to go in an “old people’s home or nursery,” where they’re not allowed to take their baby’s cats. I think I would have enough money to give also to every other animal shelter and animals in need.

22. Do you believe in ghosts? No, I believe in angels.

23. Is it easier to forgive or forget? I forgive very easily, but some things I never forget. You can see it in my behavior, sometimes I’m still scared of other cats.

24. Education or wealth – which is better to have? Richness of spirit is better I think, so I choose for education.

25. One thing most people don’t know about you. I love my grandpa too, even if I slap him sometimes.

Next Up On the Haphazard Hop:

1. Chuckles and Sunshine

2. Texas and Kitska

3. Terry

4. Trev Bear

5. ABC of spirit talk

6.

1. Who do you love the most in this world? My granny.

2. Who do you hate the most? The cat who chased me, before granny saved me.

3. What would you do if a burglar took away your toys? Run after him, give him a hizz, scratch him, take my toys back and run away and leave a message at the police.

4. Where would you like to go for your next holiday? I stay home and act if I’m on vacation in a bungalow, while granny and grandpa probably staying in Turkey… without me…

5.  Oh wait, what’s your idea of a holiday? Lying in the garden with the sun on my fur, a big bird glass of water next to me and granny at my side.

6. Do you think cats really have nine lives? I think it depends on what’s happening and if you’re a lucky cat.

7. What do you think of your human? Granny is the best thing that ever happened to me, except of the grasshoppers, and I love her… forever 🙂

8. Whatz your favourite activity in the world? Besides sleeping, to walk the fence and sleep in my nest.

9. If you were granted one wish, what would it be? To play one day in furryland, with all my furry friends who left our planet before me.

10. What would you like to be in your next life?  A granny.

11. Who is better…cats or dogs? And why? I think they’re quite simular, only dogs listen to their persons…. and cats not.. 😀

Super sweet

Granny, wait a minute, before we start this Awards’ blog…

I have to lick off my fingers…

and clean my head…

and enjoy all the sweet things in life…

and tasting thinking about more of that…

yummy, this really tasted good..

Ok, it’s finished… too bad…

but now the good news…

We’ve been awarded again a few weeks ago by my Super Sweet Dog friend, the Royal Highness Princess Binky Zena. Thank you Zena for this very delicious cupcake treats Super Sweet Blogging Award.

Now I have to answer a few questions, otherwise I have to give back all the Sweetness… that I just ate…yuck!

Ok, here we go:

1. Cookies or Cake? Fishbeefandpoultry cookies.

2. Chocolate or Vanilla? Granny gets the chocolate and I take the Vanilla.

3. What is your favourite sweet treat? I don’t like sweet treats, I prefer butter instead.

4. When do you crave sweet things the most? I never really crave, just stare at my Granny for a while in the afternoon and send her some signs of jumping cows, flying chicken and swimming fish.

5. If you had a sweet Nickname what would it be? Little Washbear.. guess why 🙂

Well, I think that’s it, I’m going to chill now….

Oh, there’s more to come…Ok, be right back…

We have been dominated by It’s a pussycats life for the Seven things about me Award. Isn’t that fantastic? Thank you so much for this brainwork for this award. Granny and I are really happy with it 🙂

Ok, here we go again 😀

1. I am Binky and I’m a girl. My mom’s former friend found me, when I was about 3 month old, next to his car. I jumped into his car and he brought me home with him and when my mom saw me she named me Binky, because I am a tough girl. She took me to the vet for a check up and they saw that I wasn’t really healthy, because I had worms and they were already spreading inside of my lungs, but I am Binky and I had to honour my name, so I was treated and after a while I was certified physically fit. I don’t know if I’m a straycat, but I was lucky I found a home.

2. After a few years of happiness, my mom and her friend broke up and I was somewhere in the middle of them. I felt lonely for a little while, didn’t know anymore where I belonged, lived on my own in a big house and later my mom took me with her to another home where also two cats lived and they chased me and I was frightenend and stressed up and unhappy…. and than came Granny, moms mother and she saved me get me out of that unsure hell of situation. She gave me counseling for quite a while and the only thing I had to do was to deal with “Her baby Angel” another stupid cat that didn’t liked me, because he was jealous and I didn’t like him too for two reasons: 1. Granny was my granny and 2. I was frightenend of him, because of the trauma I’ve been through. Angel on the other hand was jealous of me, but after a while we could live next to each other. It must have been something magical in the way Granny was treating us 😉

3. I’ve learned a lot of Granny in that time and all she learned me, I had to use when we she lost her Angel. I had to comfort her for a long time and still do. She says I’m her best distraction and that she’s happy that I’m around her and that she and Grandpa never will let me alone. Sometimes I doubt that, but when they’re going away for a few days, there is always somebody with me day and night, so I don’t have to miss them too much… but I miss them still… 😦

4. I sleep next to my Granny. I was laying with her as spoons, but she told me that she’s very alert the whole night that she doesn’t squeech me, that’s why I got sleeping next to her pillow, but now I found out that sleeping on her pillow is a lot more warmer than next to it.. she can always use my place next to the pillow, or Grandpa’s pillow, don’t you think so?

5. I don’t like visitors, they make me nervous, but after a long talk with my counseler Granny, I now stay in the room and lay myself down in the window…and hope that the jammers will leave the building very quick…

6. I have a few friends now, they live at the front side of the house and on the internet. After my friend and brother Big Binky was stolen from us, I wasn’t interested in friends anymore, but now there are some black and white cats with whom I can play….. on a distance.. and when I found them I first thought I was looking into a mirror 🙂

7. When I came to my Granny my whole lifestyle changed. She is studying homeopathic medicine and is busy specialising in animals. Besides that she’s talking with death people  communicate with me animals and gives  healings conform the Animal Healer Program, whatever that means. When I’m feeling blue she always purrs me up, when there’s something wrong with me, she doesn’t know or doesn’t trust, she takes me to the vet to diagnose me and than I get homeopathic medicine….only! We live in pure natural health, as she says. I don’t care, I feel great 🙂

That’s seven. I made it. COOL!

Ok, now I have to nominate 7 cool blogs + 5 of the Super Sweet Treats Award, that makes 12 Super Sweet Cool blogs. You may choose the one you like, the one you don’t already have, or just accept the nomination and leave the Award where it is. Just know we love reading your blogs 🙂

Out of camouflage

(Klik hier voor de Nederlandse versie svp)

What the heck…

Grandpa look at that tree, there’s something terrible wrong with that tree ..

it has red leaves…

just like my nest..

..and it doesn’t fit me anymore …

..while the green nest was fitting…

..is the red nest shrinking… so, that tree and my nest must be sick, don’t you think so, grandpa?

Not sick?

It’s autumn.. o, my, that’s not save for me, everybody can see me now and it’ll be worse? The leaves will finally fall down and there’ll be no nest during two seasons.. two seasons no camouflage for me…

well, what about this…

..or this…

…I don’t see a cat …

..an empty couch…

…a street lamp…

.. and a few stupid sculptures…

Outside during Autumn can be nice for others…

..but for me it is safer inside 😉

Wonderful team member readership award

This blog is nothing about lazy bones, nor baby fat, nor big bellies, but this blog is about two Awards we’ve received last month, and no, I did not swallow them, in case you think they’re in my belly.

Directly after our Addictive blog award we’re nominated again for this award by Cats&Co. Thank you, Dianda, for this Addictive habits Award. …Granny, that’s why my belly is a little furrier, I’m addictive to lazyness ever since …

Princess Zena, of The Princess tails, nominated us for the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award… wow, isn’t this a mouth full…

Zena is a lovely Tibetan terrier with very sweet  ‘button-eyes’. She just lost her pal Zac, but she fights her way trough it. You’re tough, Zena 🙂 I love her stories, she’s funny and she just was involved in a drama, which I have to catch up, because Granny is too busy with other stuff at the moment and I’m not allowed on the lap top on my own.

Get well soon, Bobo!

(klik hier voor de Nederlandse versie)

I have a little brother and sister, I’ve never seen before, because Granny adopted me 4 years ago and they weren’t  yet born .

We made the pictures with Granny’s old cellphone because she doesn’t have a new one yet, so these photo’s are not so clear, but they’re recognizable.

This is my brother Bobo and he’s still living at my mother’s house.

Bobo loves to cuddle…

just like me.

Bobo likes to sit on the lap…

just like me.

Bobo likes lying on the edge of the couch…

I like lying in my nest on the fence.

I have a perfect balance…

..Bobo hasn’t 😦

Bobo likes to balance on the edge of the balcony, but he lost his balance and felt from the second floor down on the ground in the neighbours garden…

…and got up and walked on, as if nothing had happened. So far so good as it seems..

but my mom brought him to the vet for a check up, and then his hind-leg was getting very thick…

and he had difficulty in walking. On the way to the vet he also got an epileptic seizure,  but he was treated direcly with valium to keep the seizure under controle.

After he calmed down they made an beautiful photo X-ray…

..no, Granny, not of me..

..and on the X-ray you could see that his paw was broken on 3 places. I’m so sorry for you, Bobo 😦

Bobo had to stay one night at the vet and the next day he splinted his leg and did it in plaster cast and Bobo was allowed to go home.

Unfortunantely he has to stay in the bench during 12 – 16 weeks, because it takes a while to heal…

..and it takes a while before Granny can pet him in the usual manner..

..and that he shows Granny his favourite, manipulative “you-don’t-leave-me-now-face” to Granny. Bobo loves Granny, you know…

…just like me 🙂

Hope you’ll get well soon, dear Bobo. We love you! xoxoxo
