Hallo (Furry) Friends!
Today it’s Remembrance Day
So it won’t be me in the spotlight,
but Granny’s baby Angel…
I hope Granny doesn’t shed to many tears,
while I’m telling you the story
of my uncle Angel.
It was May 17 1995
and at half past 5 PM
Granny got a phone call of her best friend,
who was telling her
that her cat just gave birth to a baby.
Granny was all excited and happy,
picked up her stuff and got on her bike
to see the little newborn.
When she arrived at her friends house
they got upstairs immediatly
and found another little newborn in the basket…
an Angel was born at 5.55 hours.
Here’s the mother with her three newborns,
the white with grey is the little Angel.
The mother’s eldest daugther, who was pregnant too,
washed and took care of her and the baby’s
the whole time. Isn’t that lovely… sigh…
It was all clear that this little creature
wanted to be with Granny
and in one way or another
this was a sign from above
that she had to take Angel home after almost 9 weeks,
nobody wanted him anyway.
You see, Angel came into her life,
while her other cat ran away just a few month before.
The same happened when Angel went to Furryland
and I just entered her life..
Remarkable how God sends us little Angels
to overcome grief and sorrow…
Granny that means that I’m an Angel too huh?!
Isn’t he the sweetest little creature in the world..
except of me of course.
Little climber…
Sleepyhead…
Here’s Angel with Granny’s other Angel Droppie…
they were always together..
Droppie opened the door for Angel..
They ate together…
Slept together…
Cute huh..?
Twofeet.. in fact my mom 😉 and Angel playing together..
Young Granny and Angel..
His own couch…
After conquering a tumor,
Angel got tooth problems
and had to go to the vet
to restore them,
but he couldn’t handle the anaesthesia…
He died after 2 weeks on a heart attack 😦
And this is Angel’s Place…
Come on my friends, I bring you there…
These flowers are for you Angel…
Beautiful place, isn’t it?
This is our Furryland..
here comes everyone together…
Do you see the dove walking in Angel’s Place?
And this is what it looks like when everything begins to grow.
I love this place,
it’s the most serene place in our garden.
I have to comfort Granny now…
well.. you know why.
ANGEL

For always in my heart.
