Get well soon, Bobo!

(klik hier voor de Nederlandse versie)

I have a little brother and sister, I’ve never seen before, because Granny adopted me 4 years ago and they weren’t  yet born .

We made the pictures with Granny’s old cellphone because she doesn’t have a new one yet, so these photo’s are not so clear, but they’re recognizable.

This is my brother Bobo and he’s still living at my mother’s house.

Bobo loves to cuddle…

just like me.

Bobo likes to sit on the lap…

just like me.

Bobo likes lying on the edge of the couch…

I like lying in my nest on the fence.

I have a perfect balance…

..Bobo hasn’t 😦

Bobo likes to balance on the edge of the balcony, but he lost his balance and felt from the second floor down on the ground in the neighbours garden…

…and got up and walked on, as if nothing had happened. So far so good as it seems..

but my mom brought him to the vet for a check up, and then his hind-leg was getting very thick…

and he had difficulty in walking. On the way to the vet he also got an epileptic seizure,  but he was treated direcly with valium to keep the seizure under controle.

After he calmed down they made an beautiful photo X-ray…

..no, Granny, not of me..

..and on the X-ray you could see that his paw was broken on 3 places. I’m so sorry for you, Bobo 😦

Bobo had to stay one night at the vet and the next day he splinted his leg and did it in plaster cast and Bobo was allowed to go home.

Unfortunantely he has to stay in the bench during 12 – 16 weeks, because it takes a while to heal…

..and it takes a while before Granny can pet him in the usual manner..

..and that he shows Granny his favourite, manipulative “you-don’t-leave-me-now-face” to Granny. Bobo loves Granny, you know…

…just like me 🙂

Hope you’ll get well soon, dear Bobo. We love you! xoxoxo

Oh you poor thing Bobo. I hope your leg heals very quickly and you can get back to your loving self – just stay clear of balconies in the future!

Poor Bobo…guess he learned the ‘hard’ way…did someone see him falling down? I would have freaked if I saw a cat tumbling pass my apartment window!?!

Yep, I told him every time not to do that, only if you’re a good balancing acrobatic cat, like me, you won’t fall down. My mom saw it happened and she was very scared that Bobo wouldn’t survive the fall, Sunshine. There must have been an angel who gave him wings at that moment, he was very lucky 🙂

Little Binky, you better set up some serious acrobatic lessons for Bobo!!! Maybe Bobo is really a doggy in a cat costume!!
Your mom must have freaked when she saw a cat coming down…i know it is not a very funny thing but i am laughing at this image. (only because it was not fatal for Bobo…)

Bobo behaves like a dog indeed. He isn’t allowed anymore to balance on the balcony, I have to help mom to put some iron wire fence on the balcony, so that he can’t fall down anymore. I think flying cats are funny too 😉

I hope you write more on Bobo’s adventures…I think he must have a few waiting to be told. Haha. 🙂
