Awards, awards and a coffee break part 1

Binky yoga

Guess what I’m doing…

I’m practicing yoga…

Binky yoga1

I’m completely in my smiling Zen..

Binky yoga2

Have you ever seen this yoga pose?…

Binky yoga3

No?

Binky yoga4

I call it “the sea horse”…

“the slanting elastic curved sea horse.”

I do this pose quite regularly lately, it’s one of my favorites…

and it’s something else

than “the downwards facing dog..”

I’m good in doing the cat too, you know,

much better than my Granny…

Afb059

you see…

Ok, I’ll stand up now and will do some announcements.

Here we go…

Binky vertelt

A few friends have nominated me and my Granny again for some very beautiful awards. I’ll mention them in order of succession..

Princess Starlight Zena nominated us for The Liebster Award..

I know, I know, I have it already, but this one is different from the other Liebster, look at this one…nice huh?

liebster award

And these are the Liebster rules:

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you > done!
2. Share five things about yourself > done
3. Answer five questions presented by Princess Zena.> done
4. Ask five new questions to your nominated bloggers > in progress> done
5. Reveal your top five picks {with less than 200 readers} and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog >always do.
6. Copy and paste the award on your blog>done.
7. Hope that the people you’ve sent the award to forward it to their five favorite up-and-coming bloggers and keep it going!> hoping!

1a.  Thank you Princess Zena for the nominee, so much appreciated and you’re so adorable.

2a.1. I’m very picky about my food and I can make a mess of it, when I don’t want to eat something. How I do it? I water my paw and let it sink in the food.

2a.2. I’m very selective in my friendships, I only want to be with my Granny and Grandpa, without any intruders.

2a.3. I’m a night reveller since the snow came into my life . I don’t like the whiteness all around and I don’t like the cold, so I have to go out late in the evening or to buy myself a pair of sunglasses and snowboots.

2a.4. I’m sleeping on my Granny’s pillow and on her head, than she gets awake more often at night, so that she can cuddle me.

2a.5. I’m the first one who’s waken up in the morning and than I begin to scratch the bed. Granny says I’m ruin her bed, but it’s not my fault that I can’t get my claws out of the fabric.

Ok, that was five. What’s next?

Answer 5 questions of the Royal Highness. Ok, let me think:

P1030480

1. The naughtiest thing I’ve ever done was drinking outside of standing water that smelled like a slurry pit and there were little living creatures inside of it… so it wasn’t standing water after all, I guess…

2. I’m sometimes a little bitchy, but that runs in the family, so in answering to this question, I wouldn’t change anything about myself.

3. My perfect vacation would be at home with my Granny and Grandpa and my daily routine, but with lots of sun. I like sunbathing, you know.

4. The hardest thing I ever had to do was to say goodbye to Granny’s Angel and my best friend Big Binky.

5. If I could go back and change something of the past I would change my name…… in BinkyPuzz’n’boots.

Binky Liebster AwardNow up to the next point. I have to make 5 questions for my nominees…

1. When are you the most active and when are you the laziest most inactive?

2. What would you do, when you have to take care of your own dinner?

3. Do you believe in angels and furryland?

4. What would you do if you had wings?

5. How do you show your affection?

zwartwit21

Phew… that wasn’t easy… but …..I did it.

And now my five nominees are:

Granny’s new friends

Binky keukenGranny, what are you doing with all the bread?

CAM00214

Oh, you’re gonna feed the geese and duckies …and chicken..

oh, no chicks..

waterhens and coots..

Binky keuken

Granny, yesterday there were two waterhens on the shed, they were hungry too, but when I wanted to give them food, they flew away.

Binky

No, granny, I don’t tell fibs..

Why I’m licking my mouth?

Binky aanrecht

No, not because I’m thinking of the waterhens, but…

Binky keuken

because I finished eating the crumbs you left me, that’s all.

Binky aanrecht

Ok, I get off the sink.

Binky keuken

What, can’t I come to feed the duckies and geese? Why not?…

Of cause they’ll come even if I’m around, they won’t bite me…

Binky keuken

are you sure they’re bigger then me.it’s to cold for me outside..

well, in that case, I’ll wait for you at home and tell my (furry)friends about our new feathered friends.

This is the place my granny goes almost daily lately to bring our feathered friends something to eat.

They’re starving since winter  did appear.

When they see her coming in the far distance, they begin to  croak and run towards her…(this picture was made while biking, so it’s not very sharp)

eenden en ganzen

they already know it’s granny…

eenden en gans

and they’re sitting on her feet, between her legs and she’s talking with them…

eendjes

she has to, because otherwise they jump on each other to get some food…

ganzen

but she tells them that she has enough for all of them…

eenden en ganzen

and they seem to understand,

eenden en ganzen

because they’re waiting patiently…

eenden en ganzen

and when they’re not, she tells them to take it easy and guess what… they’re all standing still. Amazing, isn’t it 🙂

gans en eenden

And this one is a special one. He’s following granny the whole time, untill she leaves and is trying to get her attention and when he doesn’t get it, he is picking on her. She thinks he’s a beauty with expressive blue eyes….

Binky

I think he’s the golden goose, I mean, the goose with the golden eggs..

Granny, maybe he is a she…

No, I’m not jealous… not at all…

ganzen en eenden

When the food is finish, granny tells the feathered friends that she’ll be back and tells them that they have to go inside of the water now, because otherwise they’ll be freezing…

and then they go, running or flying into the water and she wents home…

Binky

where I am waiting for her under the table almost frozen to death…

Oh, not outside.. I mean..

Binky slapen

…inside on the window-still and acting as I was asleep all the time…

Binky

Well, I’m a little sleepy still now, but I  just want to say one thing more.

If it’s freezing outside, our feathered friends don’t have anything to eat. Besides they’re feeling cold, they’re starving. It’s necessary to feed them supplementary. They’ll be thankful at you and you make new friends and in time I take the eggs 😉

Help is needed.. don’t stay inside… like me...

Binky schoot

Granny, I need some cuddling now…purrrrrrr…

and purrr to grandpa for making the photo’s 🙂

Shine on appreciate Binky

Binky scheel

Is that camera rolling…

Am I on air…

Binky op schoot

Ok, granny.. let’s start.

What?…

A different face, something more shining for the occasion…

ok, let me see… like this, granny?

Binky shine on

Too shiny…

Binky Shine on

Let me think…

Binky Shine onlike this?… nope…

Binky Shine on

Binky Shine on

These are the rules for this award:

1. Add the award logo to your blog.

share-the-love

2. Answer the following questions:

What makes you happiest?  When I’m together with my granny and grandpa.

Do you love the Ocean or the Mountains more? I have fear of hights…don’t laugh at me, I know I’m a cat, but I am like my granny ,… so I prefer the Ocean and there’s probably more fish in it.

What has been your favorite moment of 2012? My Our first ABC-award. given by Sunshine and Chuckles and the launching of our Dutch/English blog.

What is your favorite quote and why?  “A meow massages the heart”.. and gives me food… and loves..and pity…and treats… 😀

Do you like yourself?   Yeah.. I’m sometimes full of my own importance.. *sigh*

Do you stay up till the Stroke of Midnight on New Years Eve?  I had no choise, the bang bang wasn’t over yet and granny and grandpa were still downstairs and so am I 😦

Something you wish you get it done ASAP?  Helping granny finishing her study, so we can do nicer things, like looking out of the window together, sleeping on her lap constantly and working on my blogs and to write a new introduction in English on my our blog.

What was your favorite class while still in school?  Granny learned me a lot, like to conquer my fear of cats and people and little twofeet, maybe she’ll teach me drawing soon, that was her favorite class, when she was young in school.

What musical instrument have you tried to learn to play?  Rhythmpaw.

Anything you wish you had learned earlier?  Yeah, to defend myself against other cats.

Do you like to do crafts or draw or even paint?  Granny can do it all, but I can learn… or dream about it 🙂

Binky slapen

We now have to nominate a few blogs for  the Reality Award and 15 bloggers for the Liebster Blog award, but my our mission is to make everybody happy and let all our friends pick up the Award you don’t already have.  See, sharing love is easy if you’re able to share. I’ll also share my catfood with ya 😉

Purrrrrrrr……

This sweetie, named Jangles, has run away. She lives in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa. Maybe some of my friends, who lives there, can help to find her back or pass this on to their friends to find this little sweetie. Thanks for the help!

Billabone's avatarLong Life Cats and Dogs

Probably 90% of my readers are from the international community, which makes this a rather desperate attempt.  However, based on the “six degrees of separation” principle, I am hoping that this truly phenomenal blogging community could do me the ultimate favour of passing this information to anyone they know.

My dear, previously abused and, therefore, terribly frightened cat, Jangles, somehow managed to escape from her run at the cattery / boarding facility in which she was staying whilst I was away.  Being the scared cat that she is, it is highly unlikely that she will approach a stranger.  However, I am putting out her photograph here, in the hope that someone, somewhere, knows a person who might have seen her scurrying under bushes.

Jangles was at a facility in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa.  I have been in the area every day, calling for her.  She will be scared and…
