The good old days and the new awards

I can’t remember ~~I let~~ somebody pet me ~~besides you and grandpa~~ lately…

She has the same pattern as I have…

Granny, what.. really…

that girl is you… when you were a little girl…

and that cat was somebody else’s cat…*that sounds familiar…*

and would have been 44 by now…

44 what, granny…. lightyears…?

Ah, human years… but granny, then she could be me,

after all I’m almost 10… that’s about 44 and a bit, isn’t it?

Woh.. and then 4 times more…

What’s the name of the cat? That’s a nice name…Mickey.

And she came back 3 conse-what, consecutive days

to get cuddles and milk

and then she went home and you haven’t seen her ever after?

Granny, what’s it about you and female cats with male names..

we’re all ladies, isn’t that obvious?

I like this memorie-stuff… but now we have to do some currently things again. Wait a minute, I have to wash myself first.

Ok, I’m ready. We were nominated again for a few awards. I think we’re very lucky this year, with all the awards we already have gotten and every time when we get a new award, we’re really excited and happy and even if we already have the award, Granny gets a smile on her face and I’m rolling from one side to the other.. Granny calls me roll hering when I do that….

This Award is given to us by Princess Zena and she really makes us laugh by telling her stories and about her pal Raffles. Zena has a very expressive face, when you see her, you can’t refuse her anything. Thank you Princess, We love thee too 🙂

I love my Granny and Grandpa, because they feed me, cuddle me, pet me, nurture me, let me lie on ~~Grandpa’s~~ my couch, so that he has to sit somewere else, let me lie on ~~Grandma’s~~ my pillow, so that she has to lie down next to the pillow, because they let me in when I’m running inside out about… 44 times in the evening and because they never leave me alone. I love thee both very much, because you’re always there for me.

Next on the list are two awards from our friend Terry: the Beautiful Blogger Award and the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Thank you Terry for both the Awards. We already have the Inspiring Award, but now we’re beautiful also 🙂

Awards, awards and a coffee break Part 2

I love the sun. When the sun is shining I lay down myself for hours in the garden.

When Granny comes home from shopping, I make rolling overs’ from one side to the other and meow of joy. I like to make my Granny happy 🙂

I hear grandpa coming home from work, even if he’s not nearby the house yet . I jump out of bed and wait for him on the stairs, so Granny knows too that he’s on his way… Oh, you know it also… sorry, Granny, I forgot you’re a cat too 😉

Now, that was easy. What’s next?

In the first place I would say, for all my friends, but I have to do a selection and believe me, that’s very difficult, because we like all of the blogs we follow, but we have some new friends, who we like to introduce ~~if you don’t know me/them by now~~.

And now it’s time for a coffee break. We just came over from Terry’s, who’s invited us for a cup of ~~milk~~ coffee. Thank you for the invitation, Terry. We needed that break after all the blogging. Hope you’re feeling much better today. Take care my friend 🙂

How many cups of coffee per day? 2 in the morning and 1 later.

What is your favorite caffeine delivery system? Douwe Egberts.

What was your worst cup of coffee? The one without sugar and milk..yukes!

What does your favorite mug say? World’s greatest..40… don’t worry, age is just a state of mind. (pssst Granny has this mug for ages, so don’t let this mislead you 😉

How do you take your coffee? With milk and sweetners.

When was your first cup? When I was 13 or 14 years old.

Have you ever gone on a coffee/tea date? Only with friends.

Guess what I’m doing…

I’m practicing yoga…

I call it “the sea horse”…

“the slanting elastic curved sea horse.”

I do this pose quite regularly lately, it’s one of my favorites…

and it’s something else

than “the downwards facing dog..”

I’m good in doing the cat too, you know,

much better than my Granny…

you see…

Ok, I’ll stand up now and will do some announcements.

Here we go…

A few friends have nominated me and my Granny again for some very beautiful awards. I’ll mention them in order of succession..

1a. Thank you Princess Zena for the nominee, so much appreciated and you’re so adorable.

2a.1. I’m very picky about my food and I can make a mess of it, when I don’t want to eat something. How I do it? I water my paw and let it sink in the food.

2a.2. I’m very selective in my friendships, I only want to be with my Granny and Grandpa, without any intruders.

2a.3. I’m a night reveller since the snow ~~came into my life~~ . I don’t like the whiteness all around and I don’t like the cold, so I have to go out late in the evening ~~or to buy myself a pair of sunglasses and snowboots~~.

2a.4. I’m sleeping on my Granny’s pillow and on her head, than she gets awake more often at night, so that she can cuddle me.

2a.5. I’m the first one who’s waken up in the morning and than I begin to scratch the bed. Granny says I’m ruin her bed, but it’s not my fault that I can’t get my claws out of the fabric.

Ok, that was five. What’s next?

Answer 5 questions of the Royal Highness. Ok, let me think:

1. The naughtiest thing I’ve ever done was drinking outside of standing water that smelled like a slurry pit and there were little living creatures inside of it… so it wasn’t standing water after all, I guess…

2. I’m sometimes a little bitchy, but that runs in the family, so in answering to this question, I wouldn’t change anything about myself.

3. My perfect vacation would be at home with my Granny and Grandpa and my daily routine, but with lots of sun. I like sunbathing, you know.

4. The hardest thing I ever had to do was to say goodbye to Granny’s Angel and my best friend Big Binky.

5. If I could go back and change something of the past I would change my name…… in ~~Binky~~Puzz’n’boots.

Now up to the next point. I have to make 5 questions for my nominees…

1. When are you the most active and when are you the ~~laziest~~ most inactive?

2. What would you do, when you have to take care of your own dinner?

3. Do you believe in angels and furryland?

4. What would you do if you had wings?

5. How do you show your affection?

Phew… that wasn’t easy… but …..I did it.

Granny’s new friends

Granny, what are you doing with all the bread?

Oh, you’re gonna feed the geese and duckies …and chicken..

oh, no chicks..

waterhens and coots..

Granny, yesterday there were two waterhens on the shed, they were hungry too, but when I wanted to give them food, they flew away.

No, granny, I don’t tell fibs..

Why I’m licking my mouth?

No, not because I’m thinking of the waterhens, but…

because I finished eating the crumbs you left me, that’s all.

Ok, I get off the sink.

What, can’t I come to feed the duckies and geese? Why not?…

Of cause they’ll come even if I’m around, they won’t bite me…

are you sure ~~they’re bigger then me.~~it’s to cold for me outside..

well, in that case, I’ll wait for you at home and tell my (furry)friends about our new feathered friends.

This is the place my granny goes almost daily lately to bring our feathered friends something to eat.

They’re starving since winter did appear.

When they see her coming in the far distance, they begin to croak and run towards her…(this picture was made while biking, so it’s not very sharp)

they already know it’s granny…

and they’re sitting on her feet, between her legs and she’s talking with them…

she has to, because otherwise they jump on each other to get some food…

but she tells them that she has enough for all of them…

and they seem to understand,

because they’re waiting patiently…

and when they’re not, she tells them to take it easy and guess what… they’re all standing still. Amazing, isn’t it 🙂

And this one is a special one. He’s following granny the whole time, untill she leaves and is trying to get her attention and when he doesn’t get it, he is picking on her. She thinks he’s a beauty with expressive blue eyes….

I think he’s the golden goose, I mean, the goose with the golden eggs..

Granny, maybe he is a she…

No, I’m not jealous… not at all…

When the food is finish, granny tells the feathered friends that she’ll be back and tells them that they have to go inside of the water now, because otherwise they’ll be freezing…

and then they go, running or flying into the water and she wents home…

where I am waiting for her under the table ~~almost frozen to death~~…

Oh, not outside.. I mean..

…inside on the window-still and acting as I was asleep all the time…

Well, I’m a little sleepy ~~still~~ now, but I just want to say one thing more.

If it’s freezing outside, our feathered friends don’t have anything to eat. Besides they’re feeling cold, they’re starving. It’s necessary to feed them supplementary. They’ll be thankful at you and you make new friends ~~and in time I take the eggs~~ 😉

Help is needed.. don’t stay inside… ~~like me.~~..
