They took him back

they took him backfix

Sunday 1 july was my 9th birthday,  my granny doesn’t know exactly when I was born, after all I’m a foundling, but she gave me this date because her Dog, who’s in heaven now, was born on this day, so it’s a remembering day as well and instead of a big party, we had a terrible day, that turned out to remember something more on this special day.

Big Binky and grandma were drinking a cup of coffee and after that, he wanted to go outside to stretch some muscles…

they took him backfix1

and that’s the last thing we saw of him 😦

Not long after he left there was a thunderstorm going around and granny was calling for him, but he didn’t came. We were all very worried, especially when he also didn’t came home for dinner.

Granny and grandpa were searching for some time in the late evening, but they couldn’t find him.

The next day I helped them searching: I looked in Herman’s house…

I followed Big Binky’s trails…

and smelled his odour..

followed his trace..

.. but also didn’t find him… In the meantime granny wasn’t the only one who was worried and scared, because she was playing the most terrible scenario’s of what could have happen in her head…

She was just busy to fill in a form for missing animals, when grandpa  came home and told us that we don’t have to worry anymore, because  the neighbours, Binky’s official owners, took Big Binky with them into their new house, an apartment building, without telling me and my grandparents. They also didn’t give granny the opportunity to say goodbye to Big Binky properly. Can you imagine how that feels?

We knew they were busy to move, but we never believed that they would take Big Binky with them, after neglecting him for such a long time.

After almost 3,5 years, after his wandering adventure, they finally remembered they also have another cat named Binky and stolen took him away, just like that, without having the guts to letting us know what they’re up to.

Afb348fix

Big Binky thought he was home with us, he never got to their house anymore after he settled himself with my granny. I admit that I was very jalous of him, because it’s MY granny and I had to share her with him, but now I see the grieve in her face, it’s affecting me also. To be honest, in my heart I already got used to him and I miss him already, but this I can only say afterwoods. I had no idea of this feeling before 😦

Afb354fix

My grandparents took care of him for all these years, nurtured him when he was ill,  feeding him, giving him medicines when it was necessary,  defleading him and took daily all the ticks of him, and the most important thing in live, they gave him loves. In fact they gave him everything he needs and that people just snatched him away from our lives…

…but what can we do, after all it was their cat! We definitely learnt a big lesson out of this: to communicate is very important though you can’t get disappointed.

OK, we’ve communicated with Big Binky and he’d with us, but we forget to tell the neighbours that Big Binky didn’t want to come home anymore, so he’d better stay with us.

Granny is worried that Big Binky will miss his environment, his home and us. He can’t get anywhere now he’s living on a flat, from an outdoor cat into an indoor cat, that must be heavy, Big Binky, but we’ll hope and pray all the best for you.

Grandpa’s wondering if they’re operating in the interest of the cat or on selfish reasons, because Big Binky is al real outdoor cat.. the real hunter, you know.

P1030095fix

I have to cheer up granny now… but before that I have to do just one more thing…

..this is for that selfish people, I’m really catlicious now!

Sunshine award

Look what we’ve got for our blog, a Sunshine Award 😀

We are so proud and happy to received this special award and granny was so happy that she made a leap for joy  🙂

We’re nominated bij Cats&Co, an amazing blog where you can learn everything you have to know about… about what, granny?… oh, I see, yes, about Cats. Dianda, the author, has two cats of her own, that must  be the reason she named her blog Cats&Dianda = Co, don’t you think so? 😉

Thank you so much, Dianda, for this Sunny award. It will get a place of honour on our blog, that’s for sure!

We’ll fill in the questions together, like we always do. Here we go Binky’s 🙂

1. Favorite number:

3 diners a day, keeps the appetite away!

11 the number of spirituality and to find out what’s behind the material world.

2. Favorite non-alcoholic drink?

Herbal tea.

3. Facebook or Twitter?

Twitter.

Facebook.

4. My passion:

Sleeping in the middle of the bed and getting grumpy if I have to move. So sleeping the bed is my passion, besides my granny 🙂

Definitely Grandma… *whispers* and hunting after the succulent young chickens, birdies, mice a.s.o. ;)’

The two overhead me, other cats and animals and of course my cowboy 😉

5. Favorite pattern:

Get up in the morning, together with Granny and the other fourfeet who doesn’t have a name, and get outside just to sit there and look and then go back into the house to eat and went outside again to inspect my surroundings for a few hours. After that I get home to take a long nap.

Rise and shine with Granny and the Bitchy Little Binky, sing  the highest tone deep out of my throat and don’t stop untill she gives me my food. After that I wash myself properly and *whispers: going to hunt on something* take a walk. I’ll be back in the afternoon and install myself on grandpa’s couch if I don’t get any attention on my solo singing to get some food again, besides the dry food.

What pattern? I have to take care of The Binky’s and my cowboy in the morning, keep myself in shape, run the house, do the shopping, learn my lessons, update my English, cook the evening meal, wash the dishes, work on my blogs, answer my blogfriends, twirl with the cats and trying to keep my eyes open and not falling asleep on my notebook.

6. Favorite day of the week:

Sunday, because my grandparents are both home.

Sunday, dito.

Sunday, because there’s nothing to hurry.

7. Favorite flower:

That’s it folks. Now we have to pass our Sunshine Award to some other lovely blogs and I hope they will accept it and have as much fun as we had by filling in the questions. These are our nominations for The Sunshine Award:
